THE INDIAN CINEMA AS WE CALL IT

"BOLLYWOOD" is the bonding of

relations,politics,struggle,fantasy and many more by a
numerous amount of creative artist (a better word than
talented) that come together and create an imaginary
document which people from all over the world come and
visit.

Starting from the begining the first movie that ever came
in india was Raja Harsihchandra by Dadasahab Phalke.After

that started the era of Raj Kapoor known as " The

Show Man".He created cinema which people
loved all across the world..His movies contained art with
entertainment which made everyone love it..that created the
buss amongst people to join this so called industry
"Bollywood" that was the buss that gained so much attention
so much that some truly recognized the art behind it and
some juct came to get the popularity , fame as we call it and
the urge to earn money money money...

THAT was the creation and the end of indian

cinema...talent came along as the years past..they were
movies which had so much to tell and so much to
understand about life..the actors flimmakers everyone were
an another level of artist..ARTists like GURU DUTT,
SAT YAJEET RAY ,SHYAM
BENEGAL,GULZAR ,HRISHIKESH
MUKHERJEE ,SHEKHAR KAPUR created a
different wave of cinema which no one would have ever
imagined...they showed a story so beautifully that it just
carries away ...this is what is lacking in the current indian
cinema...those flimmaker s were a pure class of genius and
had the artisitic hand which no one could ever have...

THEN were some ators that just boomed the industry and
shaked the whole industry with their acting abilities. the
audience lokked at them admired them and wanted to be

guy wanted to become

like them.every roadside corner

AMITABH bachan or DEV anand

..girls went crazy over these actors .they wanted as their
husband or boyfriend somewhat like these superstars..

Slowly and slowly the talent was going down and a bunch of
stupid growth of indian cinema was coming up which was
just boring and had no sense and just was made to earn
money ..and people also foolishly watched the movies
because their favourite superstars were beingn casted in
their movie...

The cinema starteg going down by the late 90s ...the era
was of just showbizz..the people had lost the essential
meaning of cinema...it was nore rather converted into just
another business deal..people had stopped treating movies
as a art form it was just considered as a past time... the urge
of art form cinema was lacking and some flimmakers who
were trying to get it back were failing desperately...the
audience started admiring a cinema that was of no use and
had no meaning to it.. Where had all the artisty flimmakers
gone??where were those movies which made us laugh and
even made us cry in the end?? why was the indian cinema
lacking ??there was talent but there was no one who did the
urge to find it..

The whole
showbiz thing just ruined the whole culture of indian
cinema...It created a sort of a world of it's own which
included superstars , proprietor and people of a wealthy
background..they had only one thing to do that was just
creating another page 3 story or getting into news or
someway or another..

The downfall is also because of our " CENSOR

BOARD" which has seriously just ruined the way they
want to show the cinema to the world which includes no
truth, no knowledge..This has really censored minds of the
flimmakers..They need to know that in this cruel and harsh
world people need to know the reality of it.and if someone is
showing through a very good median they should not stop it
getting exposed..

Most of The movies that are

made today contains a world that is just a fantasy and that
too a cheap fantasy shown in such a way that foolishes the
whole nation..our nation is a well a stupid nation contained
of people who go on to believe the stupidness of a movie
which has no meaning .
 A movie is just a prespective of a person as
to what he thinks of a world and what type of life he lives or
he wishes to live..it his just a person's perspective shown in
such a way that people tend to enjoy and understand what
a person tries to say.he just wants the audience to know how
he feels..he just share his thoughts whether it be a reality or
fantasy..like for example take a Rohit shetty film he makes a
movie in which mostly he wants to make the car jump at a
height which is neither possible and is better not done..He
has a fantasy like that in which he wants to make car jump
so some people judge him as stupid or some people judge
him as a entertainer .he just shows and people follow it so
much that the cinema that needs to be shown to especiialy
the indian audience is kept aside and this leads to illetracy of
our indian nation..i mean if there is a scene where a guy
rapes a woman just because he wants to fulfill it's desires
dosent mean that you have to do it in real life.that guy is
shown in a negative character and is shown to public so that
these negative characters should be removed from this
world and not to praise this kind of upbringing,. and coming
to censor board they have no issue when this type of vulgar
activity and have issues when discussed about the truth and
what should be done to actually safeguard the nation...

take a hrishkesh mukherjee movie he shows so

much in a movie yet he entertains you ..his movie has so
much to think about life and how it should be lead..such a
wnoderful world he makes and that too so much realism in it
that u just enjoy and get to learn and think alot..these type
of movies should me made more enough and will have a
huge great impact on our cinema as well as our individual
thinkings..

IN today's cinema what mostly people admire is the

item soongs some stupid fighting(gunda gardi) and being a
hero..that's it...people enjoy it and i still don't gei it how..it
has no story no message to give nothing...it is just for
entertainment...people in india can't handle serious cinema
or a cinema which tells the cruelisim in this world just
because they are afraid of this real world..they are weak
creatures out here who just can't face this world ..they just
need a motivation to become a hero but not work hard for
it..they need everything to come by itslef and don't want to
try and reach for it...this is a major layback which effects the
whole world..

But they are artists , creative heads who are still

willing to do something for the nation and change it ..they
are talented flimmakers coming up who have a great way of
showing a cinema and showing the reality and even making
some logical movies..there is a bunch of audience also
growing up who is willing to avoid a "stupid cinema"
(mostly salman bhai ka movie or srk
movie) and go to watch a cinema which really has sense
and shows life in a more realisitc way and a message which
people can really admire and think about it...it's growing but
not in a rapid way..there is still time for it and people will
take time to actually know the true meaning of cinema and
what is the purpose of cinema other than entertaining?

BHEL,VIKARAMADITYA MOTWANE,ANAND

GANDHI,DIBAKER BANERJEE ,BEJOY

NAMBIAR,IMTIAZ ALI,ZOYA AKHTAR,MIRA NAIR

and many more who have the urge to show a cinema which
is really worth a watch..They have a sense of flimmaking
which mostly other flimmakers are lacking on..they have a
true sense of art.

A new wave of cinema is coming up

which is upbringing talent in all the fiels such as direction ,
cinematography, writing. art direction , editors and to top it
all music directors..The music of A.R. RAHMAN is a genius
work.. i think he is the god of music..his music is just so
soothng that it makes you hear it again and again..more and
more music directors are coming up who are creating good
music a music that u love to lsiten rather than hearing those
item numbers and songs which have no sense.

The songs that you

hear on Coke Studio are way more better than the songs that
you hear on the big scereen.. they create a different kind of
music which is just a delight to listen..this is the music u

love to listen rather than listening to a chikni

chameli or a baby doll song..coke
studio songs have a meaning which they carry which just
touches your heart and lets it remain in your brains
forever..latestly a movie named masaan featured songs by
Indian Ocean ..that is the type of music that u
need to get a good cinema out to work ..a good music ..a
good music really helps you to make a movie an
extraodinary movie..flimmakers have realised that and are
getting the best music directors possible for their movie so
their movie becomes a delight to watch..a music has a great
bonding in making a good movie..it builds up the tempo of
your movie and the audience also gets thrilled to watch
such type of music in a movie..
 IN this fast growing
world everything can be bought so is the case in this movie
industry...producers, actors all buy awards just to maintain
their stature and just to fool the audience that there are still
the best..there are so many talented actors who don't get
proper acclaim for their work just because of those rich
superstars who buy those awards just for their home
collection.the true talent is still hidden in this political world
where people are so involved into day to day policitics in
their own life that people just tend to push the talented out
of the industry and keep on rulimg this small industry known
as bollywood which the people of our nation have made it a

showbiz..IT TOOK AN actor like NAWAZUDIN

SIDDIQUI 10-12 years of struggle to really reach a
stature where he can be respected as an actor..he was
rejected just because of his looks..they didn't saw his acting
capabilities ..they didn't saw his true talent..they just
rejected him on his looks as he looks ugly and in cinema only
a person having good looks can have a major role in the
movie and a person with bad looks can only work in small
roles though the talent being more of a the ugly guy rather
than the guy with good looks..what kind of equality is that?
People need to really think that and act on it..

IN today's generation what i have

observed that people make films keeping money as the no
1 . priority and the story and the rest of the things that
matters the most as the last priority..they make out
marketing strategies which will let them garner profits from
the movie..it has all become one hell of a business world..A
movie should be made from heart keeping in mind the basic
creative tools you need to make on delight of a movie..The
idea of mkaing a movie should come directly staright from
your heart and what you want to show the world what do
you think and what is your point of perspective in dealing
this world..flimmakers should start freeing themselves from
the fear of getting rejected from the audience.this lets the
person think more and more creative ideas come out when a
person frees himself from all the pressure that he is carrying
in oder to make a film..

SO if a little bit of these changes come along in

this industry and a smart audience also comes up in majority

there is definately a chance of rise in

INDIAN CINEMA which no one could have
ever thought of...
