Kejadian di masa lampau yang telah usai dan mempengaruhi masa sekarang.
Misal : Saya adalah lulusan Kampus Mediterranean Bali.

1. Verbal
(+) S + have/has + V3 + Noun ex : Peter has gone just now.
(-) S + have/has + not + V3 + Noun ex : Peter has not gone just now.
(?) Have/has + S + V3 + Noun + ? ex : Has peter gone just now ?

2. Nominal
(+) S + have/has + Been + Noun ex : She has been a doctor.
(-) S + have/has + not + Been + Noun ex : She has not been a doctor.
(?) Have/has + S + Been + Noun + ? ex : Has she been a doctor ?

 Have : I/You/They/We
 Has : He/She/It

B. Simple past
Kejadian di masa lampau yang telah usai dan mungkin terjadi lagi di masa mendatang.
Misal : Saya makan roti kemarin malam.

1. Verbal
(+) S + V2 + Noun ex : They went to renon yesterday.
(-) S + did + not + V1 + Noun ex : They didn’t go to renon yesterday.
(?) Did + S + V1 + Noun + ? ex : Did they go to renon yesterday ?

2. Nominal
(+) S + was/were + Noun ex : I was an assistant.
(-) S + was/were + not + Noun ex : I wasn’t an assistant.
(?) Was/were + S + Noun + ? ex : Were you an assistant ?

 Was : I/He/She/It
 Were : You/They/We
C. Simple Present
Kejadian yang terjadi berulang-ulang atau kebenaran umum.
Misal : Saya berangkat sekolah setiap jam 7 pagi.

1. Verbal
(+) S + V1 + s/es + Noun ex : He goes to school every day
(-) S + do/does + not + V1 + Noun ex : He doesn’t go to school every day
(?) Do/does + S + V1 + Noun + ? ex : Does he go to school every day?

2. Nominal
(+) S + is/am/are + Noun ex : You are clever.
(-) S + is/am/are + not + Noun ex : You aren’t clever.
(?) Is/am/are + S + Noun + ? ex : Are you clever ?

D. Present Continuous
Kejadian yang sedang terjadi pada saat di bicarakan.
Misal : Saya sedang belajar sekarang.

1. Verbal
(+) S + is/am/are + V1 + ing + Noun ex : They are swimming in the pool
(-) S + is/am/are + not + V1 + ing + Noun ex : They aren’t swimming in the pool
(?) Is/am/are + S + V1 + ing + Noun + ? ex : Are they swimming in the pool?

2. Nominal
(+) S + is/am/are + Noun ex : She is beautiful
(-) S + is/am/are + not + Noun ex : She isn’t beautiful
(?) Is/am/are + S + Noun + ? ex : Is she beautiful?

E. Simple Future
Kejadian yang akan terjadi di masa mendatang.
Misal : Saya akan ke pasar besok pagi

1. Verbal
(+) S + will/shall + V1 + Noun ex : I shall go to school
(-) S + will/shall + not + V1 + Noun ex : I shan’t go to school
(?) Will/shall + S + V1 + Noun ? ex : Shall I go to school?

2. Nominal
(+) S + will/shall + be + Noun ex : You will be a doctor
(-) S + will/shall + not + be + Noun ex : You won’t be a doctor
