Methodology

Introductory Review of the past lesson (energy system)


Activity:
Activity: Picture Analysis: PHOTOES OF DIFFERENT RECREACTIONAL ACTIVITIES(posted on the
board)
 The class will be divided into 5 groups and each group will enumerate the
different kinds of recreational activity found in the pictures.
Analysis: Guide questions for the teacher
1. What have you observed during the activity?
2. Have you experience doing this type of recreational activities?
3. Name what kind of energy system produce while doing the activities?

Abstraction: Lesson Discussion of energy system, how to be safe and improved performance while
doing the recreational activities.
Guide Questions:
1. What are the three sources of energy?
2. Name and describe the energy system.
3.
Teacher will also discuss the proper etiquette and safety measure while doing the
activity.

Application: By group, students will perform a particular/chosen recreational activity and identify
what kind of energy system produce. Results will be written in a piece of paper.

Assessment: In a journal, student will write a reflection about the recreational activities that optimize
energy system for safe and improved performance.

Assignment: Review the relationship of health behavior.
