ABSTRACT
PT. Sriwijaya is a company engaged in nickel mining. This study emphasizes on
the design of a system to present geographic information about monitoring mining operational areas in terms of mine progress in terms of changes in topographic elevation and volume of mined material presented in map form. From the results of the study, it was found that changes in topographic elevation where at the beginning of the condition of period 1 October 2018 at an altitude of 77.5 MDPL had undergone a change in elevation on 14 October 2018, namely 75.5 MDPL, the next change was October 28 2018, which was at 69.5 MDPL to 67.5 MDPL. With mining progress topography measurement data on the activity of stripping the volume of material with calculations using software assistance where the results of the measurement period of October 1 - October 14, namely 3,696.23 m³ and the period October 14 - October 28, namely 6474.93 m³ with the total volume obtained during one month is 10,171.16 m³.
