PROFILE
I am a Ugandan male born on 07th June 1972 in Mukono District. Am a self–motivated,
honest, hard working and always commited to my work.
More than eight years of extensive and diverse experience in storekeeping and logistic
operations. Two years in charge of logistical support to food distribution and repatriation
activities implemented by Aktion Afrika Hilfe e.V in Adjumani and Moyo districts. More than
one year as Logistics Assistant in charge of Assets management, VHF/HF radio
communication and supplies dispatching.

Job Summary: provide efficient support to the logistics and procurement activities required
of Kampala and the project offices according to the established policies and procedures of
the Uganda programme
Main tasks
 Coordinating the reception of any supplies or goods in transit to and from
programmes supported by Kampala Office
 Maintaining a system of tracking assets/Inventory and updating as appropriate
 Maintaining Oxfam GB stores according to Oxfam GB policy
 Ensure adequate documentation, filling and overall maintenance of logistics records
 Support the Logistics team at any stage of the procurement process as delegated
 HF/VHF Radio Communication linkage between Country office and field Programmes

Job Summary: Plan and provide logistical support to all sectors in the implementation of
programme activities and oversee transport and stores management
Main tasks
 Established and maintained an efficient stores management system for safe storage
and internal control of movement of commodities
 Critically analysed procurement, stores, fuel and construction reports to generate
monthly, quarterly and annual reports
 Coordinated food distribution activities and logistics
 Supervised a team of logistics staff and developed their capacity for better
performance and prompt response to the needs of beneficiaries
 Maintained a transparent system of tendering, evaluation and award of contracts.

Four years supervising a group of 12 loaders, 2 store attendants and a store clerk
managing Palorinya Extended Delivery Point. Succeeded in timely presentation of daily
and periodic stock reports
Developed my understanding of stores management, team work and skills in logistical
organization.
Awarded certificate of recognition for achievements in this capacity
Responsibilities:
 Compiled monthly, weekly and daily reports
 Accounted for store activities of receipt, dispatch, loading and offloading
 Drew up storage plans for all stores
 Carried out routine inspection of stored commodities and storage structures

Regularly responsible for the management of the Extended Delivery Point (EDP). Worked
in a team whose roles cut across Food, Non food items and food storage facilities. Mainly
supervising loaders and clerical work in the store.
Developed excellent storekeeping principles and practices that significantly helped to improve
the performance of the EDP.
Responsibilities:
 Maintained efficient handling and stacking of stores
 Kept proper store documents and records
 Computed monthly loading and offloading payments for porters.
