BS Psychology – Block 1-3

As I grew up from childhood, gaining a lot more life experiences, learning and understanding more
basic to complex knowledge, and facing more difficult hardships, I began to wonder about things. Why do
people tend to act or react like this? Why are the things that I can see are happening? What is really
happening inside an individual’s head for the reason that these things happen? Out of curiosity, I found the
tendency to get very philosophical on what is around me. One thing that quite piqued my interest is the
human mind and cognition. I always wondered if there is something we do not know inside us, or perhaps
such things imaginable can turn into material form. Could there be something that our minds can create,
perhaps a world of cognition or maybe another version of oneself based on the hidden capabilities of
mankind? Is there something we can awaken but we never knew, or perhaps this is the only potential we
can do? But even so, there can be clues that could be seen just in the environment that could already tell
us what was yet to be discovered. Quite metaphysical, but perhaps this is what led me to pursue this course.
I have read books, watched series, and even played video games pertaining to the concept of
human psychology. They gave me all this definitions, explanations, and jargons that is practically used in
the area of study. However, what I most most influenced of is the mysteries that I have learned from them.
Most of what I have read, studied, watched, and played shown topic that were very much not included in
the areas of study within the academe; supernatural or more likely mysterious characteristics of the mind
and cognition, or perhaps the theories on whatever is happening in the world that we do not see. I have
always known the scientific concepts and how the brain works but perhaps there could be something much
more than biological processes. I could say that I can feel it, that there is really something that we do not
know and that education would not be the one to give that to you. One factor in particular that I wish to
observe in a very wide perspective is the society. The society nowadays, as you can say from experience, is
quite toxic due to the rise of inhumanity – and this is something that I could tell that people have begun
seeing this as a part of being human. Could it be for the changes and advancement of technology that
people’s behavior have changed so drastically, or could it be that there is something working underground,
perhaps a plague nourished by the negative cognitions of the masses? Conspiracy, that is for sure, but there
are really a lot of things we do not know. This is where I found my desire to find light, and that I hope to
create an ideal change that everyone can muster. The world may be deceiving us for something, that is
what I want to bring to revelation, that could lead to the discord or salvation of humanity.
Yet, I still am of course available to what is happening in reality. I wish to help people as much as I
can, whether something that troubles them or could be something that they lack on knowing. I want to
help as many people as I can, especially if I can help them become rational or help them find their
rationality. I want to bring back the human potential in my own way, that maybe I could bring a new
renaissance. I am afraid that the practice of medicine is not within my reach, and I know I have my limits in
curing a person’s biochemical disruptions in the nervous system (well to be honest I really do not have the
guts to do that). True that it should have been AB Psychology (Behavioral Science) is what I should have
pursued, yet I have known that I can learn more about psychology in the college of science (and because
PLM only is my choice for the education program). After I graduate, I could start my goals either by writing,
or perhaps I could teach the next generation under my wing.
I want to find out what is truly happening as I believe that all things that I have known so far have
meaning. If there is really something that the world lacks yet it is most needed, then I am one to volunteer
in bringing that to justice. A discovery can change to world, and it is my passion to create another for more
people to create theirs. Should it become discovered by me or anyone, it could enlighten all of humanity;
it could help change the hearts of people, and it could change mine to awaken my true self into potential.
