INTRODUCTION
An introduction to a narrative report should basically introduce what your
report is about. It does not need to be particularly long but you do need to explain what
you will be doing or what you will be analyzing or assessing. You should begin by
giving a brief introduction into the particular area you are looking into and what it was
that made you decide to pick your topic. It may have a long standing interest in the
topic or there may have been a gap in research and it does not cover this particular area
you are looking into.
You do not need to give too much information in your introduction as you may
find that you end up repeating yourself later in your report. You may need to edit
your introduction once your report is finished to ensure there is no repetition.
The continuous development of Information and Communication Technology in
our society today is an impetus of our quest for information and continued study for
improvement. This development in the field of ICT can be achieved through theory and
practice. It is for this reason that part of our I.T curriculum is the Information
Technology exposure where students are exposed to practical operations and
advancement of I.T. industry as integrated in our Special Topic/Related Learning
Experience (RLE) and Management of Information System Subjects.
We have conducted initial inquiry/arrangements with the companies to be
visited as to the educational orientation and lectures to be made during the proposed IT
Industry Exposure. The companies include: a) SPI Global; b) FESTO; c) ABS-CBN; d)
Makati Command Center; BPO Company; and f) RIVAN-IT.

OBJECTIVES OF THE TOUR

The objectives of the educational trip are the following:
a. Compliance of the special topic subject as mandated in the new I.T. curriculum;
b. To expose I.T. students to the latest trend and application of Information
Communication Technology (ICT);
c. To serve as substitute to on-the-job training of I.T. students in I.T. companies
which are virtually non-existence in the region;
d. To let the students appreciate the significant contribution of their course to the
national as well as the global economy; and
e. To give the students the opportunity to scout possible employment opportunities
in the companies to be visited.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE TOUR

In this section, the student expresses the value or importance of the educational
