Preface

This book contains chords for Christian songs which can be easily learned
by the beginners.

Since this book is about learning chords for Christian songs, you
will not find the full songs but you will find the complete chords to play
the full songs. If same chords are used in verse 1, 2 & 3, you will find
chords and lyrics only for verse 1. Once you know the chords for verse 1,
the same can be used for other verses also.

Psalms 33:3 says “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout
for joy.”(NIV) As we sing and play skillfully I pray that we will be able

How to use this book?
Chords are written on top of the lyrics of each line. You can play the
chord exactly on top of the word the chord is written. Chords are written
using upper case letters. Forward slash (/) is used to represent a beat
(quarter note) in a bar. Time signature is given along the title of each
song.

Strumming suggestions are given for few select songs.

D – for Down strum
U – for Up strum
Ex. D DU U DU – means down, down up, up, down up
Tempo suggestions are given for few songs in the format (T number).
Ex. T 60 means the song is on temp 60 BPM(Beats Per Minute)
