INTER SCHOOL DEBATE
The 3rd ABG Inter-School Debate competition was held in
ABPS Rawan on 29 Jan ‘19. The selection round was held in
November, in which fifty six students from twenty eight
schools participated. They had to send a video of one
minute each on the given topic “Social Media has real Anti-
Social effects, ”either for or against it. The best twenty
speakers from ten schools were selected. The ten schools
were ABPS-Veraval; Kharia Khangar; Kotputli; Kovaya;
Jagdishpur; Renukoot; Hirmi; KDKVM Renukoot; PRFS
Mathura & ABHSS-Veraval.
The ten finalist teams stole the hearts of the audience by
their eloquence. In a tough competition, team PRFS
Mathura was adjudged the winner and lifted the
Champion's trophy. ABPS Kotputli bagged the second
position and ABPS Jagdishpur got the third position.
Anushka Sharma of PRFS Mathura and Vangyaa Banarjee
of ABPS Kotputli were adorned with the sashes of the Best
Speaker for and against the motion respectively. The Chief
Guest, Mr. Ashish Panpalia, Unit Head, Ultratech Rawan
Cement Works, graced the occasion and congratulated all

INTER SCHOOL ONE ACT PLAY
Gandhiji's ideology is not an abstract idea but intertwined
with the practical day-to-day problems of millions. It is not
only loyal to ideas but to living human beings. Gandhiji's
philosophy fulcrum around truth and non-violence is and
will always remain eternal in this ephemeral world. Every
era and generation will look at the values and teaching of
Gandhiji to get the solution of their ambiguous problems.
The Aditya Birla Group Schools One Act Play Competition
Shashwat Gandhi2019, on the occasion of 150th birth
anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi was conceptualized
and jointly hosted under the able guidance of Mr. Sunil
Kumar, Principal ABPS, Nagda and Mr. Yogesh Paliwal,
Principal ABSSS, Nagda. The participating schools were
supposed to stage either values or thoughts from any of
Gandhi's work and present it in the modern context. A
distinguished panel of judges shortlisted six schools-
ABHSS Khor, ABPS & ABHSS Veraval, ABPS Kesrol, ABPS
Rayagada, ABPS Kumarpatnam.
On the 9th of February, 2019Mr. K Suresh, Unit Head,
Grasim Industries graced the chair as the Chief Guest,
Mrs. & Mr. Shailendra Jain as the Guest of Honor and Mr.
Yogendra Singh Raghuwanshi, Sr. VP HR as distinguished
guest, along with the special invitees.The event was
judged by an eminent panel of judges Dr. Om Joshi (Indore,
MP), Mr. Girijesh Vyas (Ujjain, MP) and Mr. Hemant Kher
(Kosamba, Gujarat). The quality of plays, the perfect
execution and stellar performances kept the audience
spellbound .The participants of ABHSS Khor stole the
show and bagged the First place while Runner-Up position
was secured by ABPS Veraval. The participating teams
were awarded with mementoes and certificates. The
judges appreciated the efforts made by the host schools
and gave valuable tips on the use of stage, props and
movement of cast on stage to generate a greater impact.

ABG Inter School Quiz 2019
MINDQUEST.
With the abiding faith reposed in us by Dr. S. Ganguli, the
C.E.O., GHR-Education, we at ABPS, Renukoot were
honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility to
host the ABG Inter School Quiz 2019 MINDQUEST. With
the technical expertise extended by the IT team of
Hindalco, the Online Mode Preliminary round of Quiz was
successfully conducted on 22nd January 2019 in which a
total of 31 teams across the Aditya Birla Group of schools
participated and the top 6 teams were invited for the
finals.
On the 11th of February 2019 the teams were treated to a
delightful feast through an Ice
Breaking Session- Shimmer n' Shine to get them
acquainted with each other and make them feel at home to
gear up for the next day's mega event. On the 12th the
Hindalco Auditorium was reverberating with great
excitement as the enthusiastic teams arrived with the
escort teachers. The programme commenced with the
invocation of Saraswati Vandana by the School choir. The
flame of knowledge was kindled with the lighting of the
lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Satish N Jajoo, COO, Hindalco
Industries Ltd., the Guest of Honour Mr. Satish Anand,
President (HR), Hindalco Industries Ltd. the esteemed
dignitaries and the Principal Mrs. Daphne Unger.

45+ cities in all zones of India, and reaching more than
30,000 students, Mr. Vinay is currently one of the leading
Quizmasters in the education industry.
With his energy and high quality content and his connect
with the participants, the Quiz Master enthralled the
audience making Mindquest 2019 a captivating and
memorable Learning Event.
The students of the participating schools and their escort
teachers expressed their deep gratitude and sincere
appreciation for the flawless conduct of the Quiz. Words of
praise were showered on the host school for the hospitality
extended and the personal care taken. The winning team
was the ABPS, Jagdishpur and the runner up team was
ABPS, Rawan. Mr. Satish Anand, President HR awarded
the trophies and certificates to the winning teams. The
participants were rewarded with a certificate of
appreciation and a memento as a token of gratitude was
given to the escort teachers.

15 memorable years of my life at ABPS, Kovaya which
taught me to be persistent and chase the dream of becoming a“Chartered
Accountant” without compromising on small issues.
This entire institution is a treasure of knowledge for me and I have cherished each
and every moment I have spent here. Though I am going to be physically away, I
will always carry in my heart, the love, care, affection, blessings and teaching I
have received from ABPS.
I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Mr. Akhilesh Gadia Sir and Jagdish

Jani Sir (Commerce faculty) who have made me, realize my dream and achieve
success in my chosen field.
I will always be grateful to the Management of Ultratech Cement Limited and our
Principal Mam, Mrs. Raji Jayaprasad, is difficult to part with and impossible to

has been pioneer in this aspect. BKDKVM nurtured me not
only professionally but holistically. After living and working
ABHSS, NAGDA in 3 different continents and 5 countries and pursuing
different courses in one of the top global universities (
Stanford ) ,I have no doubt that the education I received for 14
years in KDKVM built a strong foundation,one without which
ABPS, KOTPUTLI growing as a professional and more importantly as a human
being would have been difficult. The school provided me
with multidimensional learning and helped me use my skills in finding solutions to
the complex problems which helped me serve society and family in a truthful
fashion. The school enabled me to apply my knowledge to encounter challenging
demands and to expand my thinking beyond average and strive for the best.

It has been a while since I left school but the memories are
still very fresh. The place from where one completes one's

PRFS, MATHURA in heart. There is a profound reverence for the school in my
heart. BKDKVM helped me open my parachute of dreams
and enabled me to fly. I get nostalgic at times as those 14
years were undoubtedly the best years of my life. The faculty
of BKDKVM has always been supportive, inspiring and
challenging. The school helped me expand my knowledge
horizon and helped me learn to use my skills in reality. Thank
