deserving jail officers to their new ranks….

5 new Senior Jail Officer 4

6 new Senior Jail Officer 3

9 new Senior Jail Officer 2

14 new Senior Jail Officer 1

24 new Jail Officer 3

4 new Jail Officer 2

Good Morning!

Before I continue, I would like also to include the recent promotion of our “Uragon”

officers now Superintendent Noel T Pardo and now Jail Inspector _____ Quinol who were

donned by no less than our Chief BJMP last January 9, 2018 at BJMP National

Headquarters. Congratulations again, BJMPRO-V is honored to have you!

To the promotees, let me remind you that as your rank steps up, you will realize

that it is not about getting that superfluous insignia or extra chevrons and the laurels

added to your shoulders nor about having a higher remuneration.

Promotion is also about raising the value of your work and framing your attitude on

how you deliver quality jail service.

Your new ranks and gray stripes new to your sleeves does not define power nor

position but responsibility.

Let me share to you the key message of our dear Deputy Chief for Administration

during the donning of ranks in the National Headquarters, Jail Chief Superintend Allan S

Iral said that “Power does not actually come from the positions given to us but how great

we make of our jobs to further the Jail Service. And that new rank you now don demands

that you act on that power. That is responsibility”.

Our junior officers in the

field expect a lot from you, their seniors. Kayo ang role model nila. Kayo ang inspirasyon

nila. Inspire them to do their duties properly”.

Naniniwala ba kayo doon? Well, mukhang totoo naman. Di ba mga promotees?

Some experts say that in a workroom or station, there are three kinds of persons.

First, those persons who WANT it to HAPPEN; Second, those persons who WISH it could

HAPPEN and Third, those persons who MAKE it HAPPEN.

To those of you who worked for their dreams and hopes, today is the winning

moment. You make it happen.

Today we honor your labors and sacrifices with your families as they pinned

another rank on your gray uniform.

Sa selebrasyong ito, let us also recognize the sacrifices of our families, sa pag-

Lastly, do not mistake responsibility for privilege. More important than the privilege

attached to our rank, is the weight of responsibility.

niyong nasimulan. Maging inspirasyon. Be a blessing to everyone.

Again, Congratulations to all promotees and to your families.

Thank you!
