An Imposter in our Midst
Fewer and fewer college students step on
campus with a background in
Christianity. Even fewer than that feel
compelled to get involved in a campus
ministry on their own initiative, but
thankfully God is at work in students’
lives. Cameron was one such student that
would never have stepped foot into a Cru
meeting had it not been for his
roommate, Tanner. Their freshman year,
Tanner and Cameron became good
friends and as Tanner got involved with
Cru he began inviting Cameron to come
with him. For a long time Cameron would
come on a day hike here or a men’s
camping trip there, but he avoided
events like Bible studies and our weekly
meetings. As Tanner grew in his faith and
spiritual maturity, he saw the opportunity
this year to lead a Bible study in his house
with his roommates and any other men
that would like to join them. I can’t help
but think that the Lord used His Word
and these spiritual conversations to work
in Cameron’s life because this fall

As we write this letter and are reminded of the life change that we get to
witness in students’ lives, we are overwhelmed with gratitude to you for making
our work possible through your prayers and support. We thank God for you!

We were surprised again and overjoyed
to find out that Cameron registered for
the Cru Winter conference. Many great
topics were covered during the
conference, but one of my favorite was
about the importance of community. It
really hit home with Cameron because
on the last night of the conference while
fighting back tears he shared that this
was the first time that apart from Tanner,
he had experienced a genuine sense of Brett and Darci Hullah
belonging and being valued by others.
Praise the Lord for showing Cameron Cru at Northern Colorado
