BENEFITS
OF
PRAYER

The Lord Jesus made it clear that men ought always to pray and not give up (Luke 18:1). If the
Lord expects us to pray as often as possible, it means there’re benefits we can expect when we
do.
The first benefit of prayer is that it gives you the opportunity to commune or fellowship with
God. Prayer time is the time when you are able to clearly hear what the Lord has to say, and
receive direction for each day’s activities and challenges. The Bible says ‘’..............in the
morning, rising up a great while before day, he (Jesus) went out, and departed to a solitary
place, and there prayed’’ (Mk 1:35).

Jesus took prayer very seriously while He was in the earth for He knew the importance of
communing with the Father. You also need that continual fellowship with God to function
effectively.

Another benefit of prayer is the conditioning of your spirit. Your spirit is conditioned and rightly
positioned when you pray. Every time Jesus came down from the mountain after praying,
tremendous miracles followed because He activated the power in His life through prayer; He
knew clearly what step to take next in his ministry. Prayer helps your spirit become more
sensitive to the Spirit of God; the eyes of your spirit are opened and it becomes easy to see the
visions of God and have the anointing stirred up.

Also prayer gives you the opportunity to make your requests known to the Father and receive
from Him. But remember that the intensity of your prayers isn’t what brings the answer you
seek, but your faith, for the Bible says ‘................all the promises of God in Him are yea and in
him Amen, unto the glory of God by us’ (2 Corinthians 1:20).That means on God’s side, His
answer is yes!

By faith declare what you desire and it will be established in heaven and here on earth.

Tonight as we pray, remember God’s answer is yes and yes only. Glory Hallehuia.

Prayer theme OUR MAN OF GOD PASTOR CHRIS

 Pray for our dear Man of God that he will continue to bask in the abundance of
revelations of the word, increase in wisdom, knowledge and virtue as he selflessly and
boldly teaches the body of Christ and builds the saints unto maturity. ( Deut 18:15, Jer
1:5)
 Declare that every word spoken by our man of God will be accompanied with signs and
wonders more than ever before and this will be seen in greater manifestation in the
various upcoming programmes in the year (Acts 2:22, 5:12).

 Declare that as Pastor ministers, his messages actually reach to the nations and peoples of
the world, the many sided wisdom of God will continually be revealed such that the
divine influence and presence of God will be manifested whenever he ministers and that
presence will rub off on anyone who comes under the influence of his messages.
(Eph 3:10-11, Rm 15:19)

 Declare that he continues to fulfill God’s divine purpose for him without reproach,
hindrance in all nations of the world, and that through him millions the world over will
discover their destiny in God. (Exo 18:19, Jos 1:5, Jos 3:7)

 Pray for all who work closely with him, declare that they continually function in that
same spirit and grace upon our man of God and that through them the work will grow
and expand beyond human comprehension.(Psa 133:2)

 Pray that as Pastor ministers through the Spirit in all our upcoming programmes, mighty
deeds and outstanding manifestations of the Spirit will be wrought and like the epistles of
Paul, they would become spiritual references for generations to come. (Acts 5:12, 1Cor
10:11)

 Pray for God’s multiplied and immeasurable grace upon our President as he fulfils his
God-given vision for his generation and the world. (Acts 4:33, Acts 14:3)

CONFERENCE/PASTORS REFRESHER COURSE

PLANNING AND LOGISTICS

 Pray that everyone involved in the planning and organization of the conference at all
levels will be totally yielded to the Spirit and will perform his/her duties being mindful of
the anointing that has been made available for this unique meeting and that each person’s
work will be sanctified of the Spirit. (Rm15:16, Phil 1:19, 2 Tim 2:21)

 Pray that there will be a demonstration of excellence and order in the preparations and
that no aspect of the planning will be neglected. Pray for the organization and planning,
that it will be far more excellent than previous conferences we have ever had. Declare
that all that the Spirit of God has desired to communicate and impart to us in these
meetings will be imparted (Haggai 2:9, 1Cor 14:40)

 Pray for the supply of God’s spirit on every official {the choristers, ushers, guides,
transport officers, security personnel etc} that being full of the Spirit, they carry out their
functions with joy and excellence. Pray that by virtue of the work of our officials,
everyone coming for the meeting will be inspired to receive from God. (Philips 1:19)

 Declare that in the various Christ Embassy chapters, high expectation will build up as the
Pastors, Deaconry and cell leaders look forward to the special word of blessing that God
has for us through our man of God, to take them through the next ministry year (Rom
15:29, Rom 1:11)

 Pray for excellent organization of the ICLC that everything will be done perfectly and in
order, as directed by the Spirit of God. God has chosen certain men and woman to help us
plan and organize this Conference; pray that God’s grace will be on them to excellently
perform their tasks according to the pattern shown to them. (1Cor14:40, Rom 8:14).
THE IMPACT OF THE PROGRAMME

 Declare that during the programmes, the divine truth of God’s word will be
communicated strongly to our human spirits such that we will be filled with spiritual
understanding, knowing the mind of the Spirit and the language of His voice. (Col 1:9,
Eph 1:8)

 Declare that through this conference, every delegate both online and onsite will be
inspired afresh and they will receive a new zeal to run faster with the vision of the
ministry. (Hab 2:2,3)

 Pray that through this program the Pastors and leaders will exercise dominion in their
cities and nations with renewed boldness and power of the Holy Ghost and rightly
position themselves in God’s scheme of things (1Chr 12:32)

 Declare that this meetings will reposition our pastors and ministers to become an undeniable
voices in there catchments such that in all communities where our churches are located, we will
become Gods voice to the people and experience tremendous numerical increase. (Acts 2:47)

 Pray for the outpouring of God’s power at every session, that would cause a definite
transformation in the lives of everyone to do greater and mightier works for the kingdom
(2 Cor 3:18).
TRANSMISSION AND VIEWING CENTRES

 We pray for the out pouring of the Spirit like never before and a tangle presence of the
spirit of God like never witnessed before and that the same atmosphere will be replicated
in all our designated venues around the world. (Isa 32:15)

 Pray for all our viewing centers around the world especially those in areas experiencing
security unrest, that our brethren and churches will function with excellent wisdom in
their gatherings, all through this program. We declare that no harm will befall them but
that they are shielded from wicked and unreasonable men. (2 Thess. 3:2)

 Pray for an excellent live transmission of the program on various media platforms across
the globe such that all participants will get the best out of the program with clear audio
and video signals thereby receiving the fullness of the blessings where ever they may be
viewing from.

TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION

 Pray for the choices and means of transportation that will be used by all our delegates,
declare God’s guidance and the leading of His Spirit in all their transportation
arrangements for the programmes. Pray that the conditions in different parts of the world
work together for our good and are highly favorable, for easy movement and
transportation of every delegate to these programmes. (Ps 91:11)

 Pray for divine protection against thefts or mishap in every route through which our
brethren will be travelling from and back to their destinations. We declare every delegate
and their means of transportation safe and protected in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Pro 18:10, 2Thes3:2)

 Pray for accommodation plans and every detailed activity that would aid the comfort and
convenience of all delegates that everything would be done perfectly and in order. (1
Cor14:40)
Prayer theme CONTINUED EXPANSION OF OUR MINISTRY WORK ALL
AROUND THE WORLD

 Pray for our ministry work to continue to expand and our message received by all peoples
in the continents of the world (Acts 2:41, Acts 5:14).

 Pray for the impact of our TV programs in all nations, for increased viewership and
responses in testimonies and transformation in the lives of viewers (Jn 4:39-41, Acts
13:48, Acts 17:12)

 Declare that more and more people are responding with great joy to our programs and
ministry materials and they are receiving the Spirit of our message with great clarity and
understanding (Luke 8:40, Jn 12:12).

 Pray for overwhelming number of visitors and responses to salvation through our
internet ministry in all countries. (Jn 8:30).

 Declare that our message would prevail over every unscriptural norm or unethical values
and beliefs in different nations. (Luke 20:18, Acts 19:19- 20)

 Pray and declare that we reap a great harvest of souls through our ministry work in these
countries. (Jn 4:35, Mt 9:37).
 SPECIAL SEGMENT
CONFESSIONS

I have the Holy Spirit in me, therefore the ‘solution bringer’ is in me.
The problem solver is in me. He talks to me and gives me the best counsel.
He is my comforter, therefore I am comforted.
He is my counselor, therefore I am counseled.
He is my helper; therefore, I am marvelously helped.
He is my intercessor, therefore I am connected.
He is my advocate, therefor, the case is mine; I have won the case
He is my strengthener, therefore I am strengthened.
He is my standby; I can never run dry.
The Holy Spirit fills me with wisdom, glory and grace. He fills me with the divine
enablement to live victoriously in Christ.
I am the seed of Abraham; therefore I can never be disadvantaged.
I am removed from that old lineage; my path is the path of progress and prosperity.
The wisdom of God is working in me; therefore I have insight and foresight.
My life today, is a perfect reflection of the glory in the word of God. I have been
set at liberty to live the triumphant and victorious life in Christ.
I have received the grace to reign and wisdom to live triumphantly every day of my
life.
I am far removed from the judgment that works in this present world of darkness
because I hail from the kingdom of God.
I am a born winner! Halleluyah!
Prayer theme HEALING SCHOOL SESSION IN TORONTO, CANADA

 Pray for the planning and logistics of this session of the Healing school in Canada, that
the entire planning and execution will be done in excellence and in order (Ps127:1, 1Cor
14:40).

 We thank God for all the staff and organizers of this year’s Healing School Canada. For
increased grace and supernatural abilities of God’s Spirit to do even greater exploits in
God’s kingdom and function with an excellent Spirit in discharging their task.
(Isaiah 40:31).

 Pray for the staff of the school that they will continue to walk in divine wisdom in
handling the sick, and managing increased attendance at the school. (Mat 14:19-20).

 Thank God for all our Healing School partners, that they will continue to expand in
every field of business, work, and all of life’s endeavour, operating with uncommon
earth shaking ideas such that they will be noted as icons of successes and beacon of light
in their world.(Mat 5:14, Ps 1:3).

 Pray for the manifestations of the gifts of healing and divers miracles on all present.
Declare that the atmosphere will be charged up with the Power of God and unusual
miracles wrought in their bodies. (Acts 19:11, Mt 8:16, 12:15).

 We pray that the testimonies of the students will result in salvation and healing of their
family members, friends and acquaintances and all those within and outside their sphere
of contact. (Mark 5:19, Jn 4:39).

 Pray for a multiplied measure of grace upon our dear Man of God Pastor Chris, to
minister with ever increasing power and resilience of the Spirit, (Mt 15:30, Luk 5:17,
7:21).
Prayer Theme PRAY AGAINST VIOLENCE AND TERROR ALL AROUND THE
WORLD ESPECIALLY DIRECTED AT CHRISTIANS
 We pray against the spirit of terrorism and violence all around the world. We come
against satanic influences and manipulations in the minds of people stirring them to
perpetuate evil.

 We pray against terrorist attacks targeted at Christians. We declare safety for them in the
name of Jesus ( 2 Chr 16:9, Jer 29:7, Prov 3:25,26)

 We pray for the government and law enforcement agencies in these nations: that wise and
courageous leaders will spring up and insist on the arrest and abortion of terrorist
activities and schemes. (Prov 11:21, Prov 12:7)

 We declare that Christian organization and believers all over the world are granted
renewed strength to do the work of the ministry. By the strategy of the Spirit, they are
insightful and with increased tenacity they remain steadfast in their calling and
proclamations of faith. ( Ephe 3:16, Col 1:11)

 We pray for all God’s saints and ministers who are in any trouble or in dangerous places
and regions of the world; that an angel of the Lord who encamps about them may bring
them out of trouble, distress or danger. (Ps 34:7)

 We declare that the power of God is working in all saints and on their behalf in every
nation where they live. (1 Cor 15:57)
Prayer Theme PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE 1ST HALF OF THE YEAR
AND 2ND HALF OF THE YEAR OF GREATNESS

 Thank God for a glorious first half of the year 2014 ‘Our Year of Greatness, Thank God
for all the exploits we’ve done and the milestones we have taken in this year as a ministry
and as individuals. (2 Cor. 2:14)

 Thank God for his word to us this year that has positioned us and kept us focused amidst
challenges and trials. His word to us that he will magnify has come to pass in our lives
and we will yet experience its manifestation in a greater measure.(Is 55:11)

 Declare that the glory of this second half will far supersede all that we have achieved and
experienced in the years past and the word of God will work mightily in us producing the
fruits of what it talks about. (Haggi 2:9)

 Pray concerning all our ministry programs and initiatives in this second half; ReachOut
campaigns, Mission trips and ministry programs. We declare that through the power of
the Spirit these programs and initiatives will yield and uncommon result far beyond our
expectations. (Acts 19:20)

 Declare that as a result of these programs many new Christ Embassy churches,
fellowships, outreaches, cells, etc will be birthed all across the nations of the world. (Acts
2:6)
