1. Please describe briefly how your community was mobilized to stop defecating in the open.

The LGU and DOH conducted a community led approach about sanitation which led to mobilization of
barangay officials and community people to end or prevent defecating in the open.

2. Please share any innovations to achieved ZOD status (eg. Mobilization of community members,
innovations in constructing toilets, innovative designs and use of locally available materials, etc.)

We conducted community mapping details of houses with and without toilet access. And requested
toilet bowls in LGU SANTO DOMINGO. We constructed toilet with provision of water supply and soap.

3. Please submit a simple community map which indicates the key boundaries and landmarks of
barangay, households and toilets. This will support the Verification Team to plan for their verification
visit.
