The Job Management module of M1 provides User access to the data entry forms

required to set up an organisation's resources (Production Departments, Work


Centres, Processes and Production Calendars). Together with Part/Methods and
Employee records, Jobs records can be created and used to control manufacturing
requirements.

Each Jobs record may comprise a set of related Job Assemblies, Job Operations and
Job Materials records which record the resources required and cost estimates to
manufacture Parts. As resources are expended against a Jobs record, the actual
costs incurred can be recorded allowing analysis of both work in progress and
completed work.

Job Management will work in conjunction with the Scheduling module allowing Jobs to
progress through the manufacturing processes in an efficient manner. The Shop Floor
Entry module allows Shop Employees to create Timecards records against Job
Operations records and issue materials against Job Materials records, providing a
means to track progress of individual
