Safety & Work Preparation:


 Comply with EZZ STEEL permit to work system and all relevant safety precautions. Check whether it is
necessary to include instructions regarding stopping of running equipment and reinstating of same.
 Coordinate with other disciplines, i.e. operations shift supervisor, control room, etc.
 Inform the control room before starting any activity.
 Prepare required documentation (sketches, material requisition, etc.)
 Refer to EZZ STEEL Safety Procedure for more specific safety instructions.

 Clean the location where the sensor place
from any dust or grease and ensure that the
sensor do not move.
 Ensure that you select the right machine,
according to sensor position before collect data.
 Ensure that cable of sensor has not any
flexion.

Work Completion & Restart-up:

 Ensure work place is clean, all tools are withdrawn.


 Visually check the oil level, cracks, leakage and other equipment in the area, inform the control room &
foreman about any abnormalities.
 Ensure that the work permit is signed off, that maintenance supervisors are informed about all
observations, that test results are recorded on the appropriate check sheets and that maintenance
history is recorded on the work history section of the work order for input in Oracle eAM.
