POSITION : QA/QC PIPING & WELDING INSPECTOR
 Supervisor in plant service for Scaffold erection to access tube bundle pulling
work & blinding & de-blinding work and remove pipe insulation for blinding
work.
 Line to be isolated, drain and purge the system ready to blinding.
 Blinding work before pipe spools are removed.
 Removal of channel head spools and shell side spools.
 Removal of channel cover, channel head, shell cover and floating head.
 Dis-assemble backing device & Pull out tube bundle and send it to cleaning
yard at site.
 Cleaning tube bundle by hydro jetting & Shell side internal cleaning at site.
 Shell side visual inspection & repair tubes (if found damages).
 Send tube bundle back to site & reinstate tube bundle.
 Install back channel head, channel cover, backing device.
 Perform tube side leak test and Shell Side for Hydro test.
 Witness the Hydro testing and sign the reports.
 Supervising all the hydro test activities for all thee equipment’s and lines
 Install floating head, shell cover, conduct shell side leak test.
 Reinstate channel outlet pipe spool.
 Bolt Torqueing on shell & tube side flanges.

of various Piping Systems, offshore and onshore skid fabrication. Work shall include
Structural, Instrumentation, Fire & Safety and all mechanically related works

Position : QA/QC PIPING & WELDING INSPECTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES.

 Pipe joint fit-up and dimensional checking as per latest isometric drawing
and relevant WPS.
 Piping spools erection and checking for alignment, slope and orientation.
 Gap Inspections, Leak Tests, Deflection, Lamination Inspection.
 Responsible for the installation of FRP pipeline project.
 Provide all technical and managerial support for the proper execution.
 Required material and technical support.
 Coordinate with the execution team for site supervision.
 Conduct all mechanical tests according to Aramco project specifications.
 Record all documents, work hard to close all RFIs and NCRs.
 Walkthrough and QC Punch listing prior to hydro test.
 Verification of Calibration certificates for Pressure Gauges, Manifold and
Relief Valve etc.
 Preparation and review of Hydro Test Package and witness of Hydrostatic

RESPONSIBILITIES.
 Mark the item number on the item and segregate item wise.
 Supervision and QC Inspection of personnel working in site on daily basis to
ensure that client quality requirements are fully complied with PO.
 To ensure all Inspection completed packages shall be moved to inspection
completed Area and separate based on Accepted / CNR.
 Responsible to maintain the Quality document system and preparation of
packages upon completion.
 Implementation and monitoring of work and process as per drawing
specification, procedures and instructions established by the quality control
Department.
 Receiving TPI Packages from Buyers for TPI assignment. Checking for
completeness of the package received against standard requirements.
Following up and getting missing documents where the package is
incomplete.
 Generate TPI Assignment Documents and advice to Manufacturer on TPI
Assignment. Get the Documents signed by Sr. Materials Engineer
(Inspection).
 Verify TPI Release Notes are in-line with PO requirements and advise TPI
agency any discrepancies.
 Ensure all Approved Documents, TPI Reports, Release Notes, Final
Certification and documentation are documented electronically in SAP.
 Follow up with designated department on approval / endorsement of proof
load test certificates.
 Preparing Corrective and Preventive Action Request (CPAR) as per the Non-
conformance found in audits.

KEY SKILLS:

 Supervising all QC Inspector for job responsibility and monitoring arranging
stage wise inspection in order to implement the Quality.
 Coordinate with Consultant and Client in all Quality activities as required
for project.
 Supervise construction contractors during the execution of construction
activities at the construction sites.
 Supervise and approve construction activities & co-ordinate various aspects
of project construction including inspections, materials submission and
work drawing from contractors, processing documentation as required.
 Ensures that the quality of material used in construction, and the quality of
all equipment installed is in accordance with project specifications.
