Guidelines for Selection Process

Position: Field Executive

Recruiter: Streetwise representative (Branch incharge, cluster head)

Approval from: HR, head office, Indore

Source of Resumes:

Streetwise representative (Branch Incharge, Cluster heads, Team leader) is supposed to


entertain resumes or walk-ins coming in for the vacancies for field executive positions and
keep a record of all the information in Streetwise database.

Preliminary interview:

 over the phone/ at the office

Basic questions and criteria:

 qualification,
 driving license,
 joining date

Receiving Applications:

After finding the applications satisfactory save all the resumes and send it at
HR@streewiselogistic.com.

Screening Applications

Received applications/CVs should be assessed on the following criteria:

Minimum requirements:

 Can be a fresher out of college or perusing grads.


 Valid driving license
 Smartphone
 Adhar card

Interview questions for field executives:

 Describe your customer service experience


 Maximum shipments handling?
 How many pin codes you have served under?
 How do you define great customer service?
 Describe a stressful customer service experience you have handled in the past.
 What would you do if a customer was dissatisfied with your service?
 A customer pays you with a 20-rupees bill, but owe you 14.67. How much change do you
give them?
 If your delivery required a signature, and the recipient was not available at the time of
delivery, how would you handle the situation?

Following criteria should be taken into accounts to test a Field Executive:

Smartphone to assess the ability of a potential candidate to handle a smartphone. It


Fundamentals tests if an individual is aware of the basic applications within a phone
such as contacts, calling and messaging. It also tests understanding of
applications such as google maps. The test uses a combination of images
and text based questions variable in their difficulty level to accurately
identify candidates who have basic knowledge of a smartphone.

Attention to Detail The ability to capture every minute detail and present the work in a clear,
complete, precise and easy to understand language.

Numerical Ability The ability to perceive and process numbers and related symbols to
perform basic arithmetic operations.

Reasoning Ability The ability to reason and provide systematic solution to a given problem.

Selection team 1:

After finding them suitable for the job, send the selected candidate’s profile/CV to HR
department at the head office. Without head office’s approval the recruitment cannot go
further.

Selection team 2:

After HR team, finds them suitable, they give approval to the concerned department
(technical team) to go ahead with the recruitment.

Offer Letter & ID Creation

For the following positions, Radiant will be issuing offer letters to them:

 Field executive,
 Team leader,
 sorters,
 hub incharge,
 support staffs

Along with offer letter, the streetwise representative supposed to work on ID creation for the
new joinee, and there are two ways to do that, which are as follows:

1. Streetwise ( HR will suggest on this)


2. Radiant

To complete the ID creation, the Streetwise representatives have to collect new employee’s
KYC, and it’s the most important part in selection process.

Process to gather KYC:

 Collect KYC on HR recommended process, i.e. on Google drive.


 Follow the format provided by HR department
 Send it to HR dept.
 Follow-up for the confirmation

Note: this step is mandatory, and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.

Reference check & Police verification:

Its streetwise representative’s responsibilities to do the reference check and inform HR dept.
on the same. Along with reference check, he/she is also responsible to do the POLICE
VERIFICATION for the new joinee.

On-time Employee manager

 The streetwise representative must follow up and coordinate with the HR team at the
head office for the enrollment of new jonees on Streetwise attendance system (On-
time Employee manager app).
 Without this enrollment, hiring is not approved, and any kind of system failure
occurred because of a new joinee working at Branch office and not enrolled on our
attendance system, Streetwise representative will be responsible for it.
 In a situation, where the vacancy is urgent and On time enrollment is taking time, the
representative has to issue an ‘OFFICE DELIVERY CODE ‘to the new joinee on his
own (representative) name.
 IT’S COMPLETELY PROHIBITED TO ASSIGN AN OLD EMPLOYEE CODE TO
A NEW JOINEE.
 Induction training: making new joinees aware of the company profile, their roles and
responsibilities, Streetwise grooming standard, logistic terminologies.
