The lessons in grade 4 started from the theory to the practice, so students can apply
knowledge to the real situation. For example, in strand “Humans and health”,
students had to know about the role of protein, fat, vitamin, mineral and fiber. In
the next lesson, they were taught to eat a variety of food, ripe vegetables and fruits
and preserve food. Finally, some ways to prevent obesity, gastrointestinal diseases
were introduced to students.
In strand “ Materials and enerygy”, students started from learn about properties,
role of water, air, wind to know the way to protect the environment.
In strand “ Plants and animal”, students learned food, need, metabolism in plants
then in animals.
