AGRADECIMENTOS
The present work is the result of a bibliographical study carried out on the
subject of democratic management in the schools of Curitiba. Although it is a current
and relevant subject, democratic management is far from being a reality within the
scope of the administration of part of the public schools of education in Curitiba.
Given this framework, this work postulates the urgent need for study and broad
reflection on democratic management in schools in Curitiba. With the objective of
contributing to this study and reflection on the part of the school communities of
Paraná, the work brings in its content the main information, characteristics and
actions of a democratic management of the public school.
