Getting Up Early to Study or Staying Up Late

At this time, if hear the word student, so not forget the name of the assignment,
practicum, quiz, etc. To be able to adapt to these conditions there are two types of students,
namely, getting up early to study and learn by staying up all night. Wake up in the morning to
study in question, namely students who sleep early and wake up early, and start their
activities in the morning. Whereas those who are meant to stay up late are students who start
doing activities at night until the morning. These properties have their respective impacts and
there are ways to overcome them.

Of these traits, there are positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of getting
up early to study is less disturbance, peace and calm because at the time of the morning is a
time when many people who are still not doing activities with noise. More focus, because at
the time of the morning the concentration will be awake as when awakened from when early
in the morning there may not be another job so that the mind is only focused on learning.
Long learning time, because people who wake up early must have had goals such as wanting
to repeat and remember the lessons that have been studied. The best time to remember and
review lessons, because time early morning is when waking up early and your brain is still
fresh and there is no memory that is summarized. while the negative impact of staying up
late, because the recommended time to rest is 8 hours and most people who do activities at
night break time is less than 6 hours. Dozing, because of lack of adequate rest can cause
losses during the morning before the activity what will be done. Failed during the exam, the
results of a University of California, Los Angeles study that children who do not get enough
sleep will fail when performing tests or quizzes due to lack of concentration.

As for how to overcome it so that it is easy to get up to study early and reduce staying
up late. Don't drink coffee for several hours before going to bed, because coffee contains
caffeine which causes insomnia. Forcing me to go to bed early by brushing my teeth
beforehand. Then, adjust the bed more comfortable to sleep faster. Install the alarm loudly so
that we can hear and wake up in time. Show paper with the goals or targets you want to
achieve so that when you wake up you can see that writing makes you more enthusiastic.
Therefore, the benefits of getting up in the morning to learn and the disadvantages of
learning by staying up late. Morning learning is very beneficial for students because it is easy
to focus, understand, and the best time to remember and review lessons. different from
learning by staying up late, there are many weaknesses that we can get such as lack of sleep
that causes drowsiness in the morning and have academic problems the next day, and have
poor test results.
