says in Surah al-Hashr, ch. 59, v. 9:  Practically every nation on earth has stories of

"Has Abu Talha sent you?" I said, "Yes".
He asked, "With some food? I said, "Yes"
Rasulullah then said to the men around him,
"Get up!" He set out (accompanied by them) and
I went ahead of them till I reached Abu Talha and told
him (of the Prophet's visit). Abu Talha said,
"O Um Sulaim! Rasu lullah (‫ )ﷺ‬is coming with
the people and we have no food to feed them."
She said, "Allah and His Rasul know better."
So Abu Talha went out to receive Rasu lullah (‫)ﷺ‬.
Rasu lullah came along with Abu Talha.
Then Rasu lullah (‫ )ﷺ‬said to Ummu Sulaym,
"O Um Sulaim! Bring whatever you have."
She brought the bread which Rasu lullah (‫)ﷺ‬
ordered to be broken into pieces.
Um Sulaim poured on them some butter from an
oilskin.
Then Rasu lullah (‫ )ﷺ‬recited what Allah
wished him to recite, and then said, ‫َش ٍة‬

persons (do the same.)"

َ ُ ‫ أكلَ َح َّصَّت ِب ُ َ ث َّصم خ َر‬،‫ أ ِذن ا ٍُ ْم‬They were admitted, ate
their fill and went out. Then he said, ‫َش ٍة‬ َ َ َ ‫" ئْ َذ ْن ِل‬Let
another ten persons come."
In short, all of them ate their fill, and they were seventy
or eighty men.
 Story of Abu Hurayra with Rasul (sm)
Imam Bukhari reported on the authority of Abu
Huraira ® who said:
By Allah except Whom none has the right to be
worshipped, (sometimes) I used to lay on the ground
on my abdomen because of hunger, and (sometimes) I
used to bind a stone over my belly because of hunger.
One day I sat by the way from where they (the
Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬and his companions used to come out.
When Abu Bakr (ra) passed by, I asked him
about a Verse from Allah's Book
and I asked him only that he might satisfy my
hunger, but he passed by and did not do so.
Then `Umar (ra) passed by me and I asked him
َ َ َ ‫" ئْ َذ ْن ِل‬Let ten about a Verse from Allah's Book,
and I asked him only that he might satisfy my
hunger, but he passed by without doing so.
Finally Abul-Qasim (the Prophet ‫ ) )ﷺ‬passed
by me and he smiled when he saw me, for he knew
َ َ َ ‫" ئْ َذ ْن ِل‬Let another ten do what was in my heart and on my face.
He said, "O Aba Hirr (Abu Huraira)!"

 I replied, "Labbaik, O Allah's Messenger (‫"!)ﷺ‬
He said to me, "Follow me." He left and I followed him.
Then he entered the house and I asked permission to
enter and was admitted.
He found milk in a bowl and said, "From where is
this milk?"
They said, "It has been presented to you by such-
and-such man (or by such and such woman)."
He said, "O Aba Hirr!" I said, "Labbaik, O Allah's
Messenger (‫"!)ﷺ‬
He said, "Go and call the people of Suffa to me."
These people of Suffa were the guests of Islam who had
no families, nor money, nor anybody to depend upon,
and whenever any charity was brought to the Prophet,
he would send it to them and would not take anything
from it,
and whenever any present was given to him, he
used to send some for them and take some of it for
himself.
The order of the Prophet upset me, and I said to
myself,
"How will this little milk be enough for the
people of As- Suffa?
though I was more entitled to drink from that
milk in order to strengthen myself",
but tThe Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬came to order me to give
ً said,
that milk to them.
I wondered what will remain of that milk for me,
but anyway, I could not but obey Allah and His Apostle
so I went to the people of As-Suffa and called them,
and they came and asked the Prophet's
permission to enter.

They were admitted and took their seats in the
house.
The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "O Aba-Hirr!" I said,
"Labbaik, O Allah's Messenger (‫"!)ﷺ‬
He said, "Take it and give it to them."
So I took the bowl (of milk) and started giving it
to one man who would drink his fill and return it to
me,
whereupon I would give it to another man who,
in his turn, would drink his fill and return it to me,
and I would then offer it to another man who
would drink his fill and return it to me.
Finally, after the whole group had drunk their
fill, I reached the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬who took the bowl and
put it on his hand, looked at me and smiled and said.
O Aba Hirr!" I replied, "Labbaik, O Allah's
Messenger (‫"!)ﷺ‬
He said, "‫ي‬ َ ْ‫يي َىَ َو َى‬
ُ َ‫ب‬There remain you and I."
ِ
I said, "You have said the truth, O Allah's
Messenger (‫"!)ﷺ‬
He said, "Sit down and drink." I sat down and
drank.
ْ َ ْ َ ْ ُْ
He said, ‫ا‬ ‫" ا‬Drink," and I drank.
He kept on telling me repeatedly to drink, till I
َ‫ مَ َجِ ُ لَهُ مَسْل‬،ِّ‫"الَ وَ لَّذِي َعَثَ َ ِ لْحَا‬No. by Allah Who sent
you with the Truth, I have no space for it (in my
stomach)."
He said, "Hand it over to me."
When I gave him the bowl, he praised Allah and
pronounced Allah's Name on it and drank the
remaining milk.

Altruism in the life of the Companions
The Holy Prophet (sm) then sent the (same) message

‫فمر ولم يفعل‪ّ ،‬‬
‫عن آية من كتاب اهلل ما س لتو ّإَل ليشبعني‪ّ ،‬‬

‫ثم قال‪ :‬يا أبا ّ‬
‫فتبسم حين رآني وعرف ما في نفسي وما في وجهي‪ّ .‬‬ ‫(ص ) ّ‬
‫قلت‪ :‬لبّي رسول اهلل قال‪ :‬الحق ومضى‪ .‬فتبعتو فدخل فاست ذن ف ذن لي‪،‬‬
‫فدخل فوجد لبنا في قدح فقال‪ :‬من أين ىذا اللّبن؟ قالوا‪ :‬أىداه ل فالن‪ -‬أو‬
‫الص ّفة فادعهم‬
‫ىر قلت‪ :‬لبّي يا رسول اهلل‪ .‬قال‪ :‬الحق إلى أىل ّ‬
‫فالنة‪ -‬قال‪ :‬أبا ّ‬
‫الص ّفة أضياف اْلسالم َل ي وون على أىل وَل مال وَل على‬
‫لي‪ .‬قال‪ -‬وأىل ّ‬
‫أحد‪ .‬إذا أتتو صدقة بعث بها إليهم ولم يتناول منها شي ا‪ ،‬وإذا أتتو ىديّة أرسل‬
‫إليهم وأصاب منها‪ ،‬وأشركهم فيها‪ -‬فساءني ذل ‪ ،‬فقلت‪ :‬وما ىذا اللّبن في أىل‬
‫أتقوى بها‪ ،‬فإذا جاءوا أمرني‬
‫الص ّفة؟ كنت أح ّق أن أصيب من ىذا اللّبن شربة ّ‬
‫ّ‬
‫فكنت أنا أعطيهم‪ ،‬وما عسى أن يبلغني من ىذا اللّبن ولم يكن من طاعة اهلل‬
‫وطاعة رسولو (ص ) ب ّد ف تيتهم فدعوتهم ف قبلوا فاست ذنوا‪ ،‬ف ذن لهم وأخذوا‬
‫ىر‪ ،‬قلت‪ :‬لبّي يا رسول اهلل‪ .‬قال‪ :‬خذ‬
‫مجالسهم من البيت‪ .‬قال‪ :‬يا أبا ّ‬
‫علي‬
‫يرد ّ‬
‫ثم ّ‬
‫الرجل فيشرب حتّى يروى‪ّ ،‬‬ ‫ف عطهم‪ .‬ف خذت القدح فجعلت أعطيو ّ‬
‫بي (ص ) وقد روي القوم كلّهم‪ .‬ف خذ القدح فوضعو‬
‫القدح حتّى انتهيت إلى النّ ّ‬
‫ىر‪ ،‬قلت‪ :‬لبّي يا رسول اهلل‪ .‬قال‪ :‬بقيت أنا‬
‫فتبسم فقال‪ :‬أبا ّ‬
‫إلي ّ‬‫على يده فنظر ّ‬
‫وأنت‪ ،‬قلت‪ :‬صدقت يا رسول اهلل‪ .‬قال‪ :‬اقعد فاشرب‪ ،‬فقعدت فشربت‪ .‬فقال‪:‬‬
‫اشرب‪ ،‬فشربت فما زال يقول‪ :‬اشرب‪ .‬حتّى قلت‪َ :‬ل والّذي بعث بالح ّق ما‬
‫وسمى وشرب الفضلة))‬
‫أجد لو مسلكاً‪ .‬قال‪ :‬ف رني ف عطيتو القدح فحمد اهلل ّ‬

‫ّ‬ ‫فقالت‪ :‬ما عندنا ّإَل قوت صبياني‪ .‬فقال‪ :‬ىيّ ي طعام وأصبحي سراج‬ ‫ماء وأنا أقول‪ :‬إن كان بو رمق سقيتو ومسحت بو وجهو‪ ،‬فإذا أنا بو‪ ،‬فقلت‪:‬‬
‫ثم‬
‫ونومت صبيانها‪ّ ،‬‬
‫فهيأت طعامها وأصبحت سراجها ّ‬
‫صبيان إذا أرادوا عشاء‪ّ ،‬‬ ‫إلي أن انطلق بو‬
‫عمي ّ‬
‫إلي أن نعم‪ .‬فإذا رجل يقول آه‪ .‬ف شار ابن ّ‬
‫أسقي ؟ ف شار ّ‬
‫فلما‬
‫قامت ك نّها تصلح سراجها ف طف تو فجعال يريانو أنّهما ي كالن فباتا طاويين ّ‬ ‫إليو فج تو فإذا ىو ىشام بن العاص فقلت‪ :‬أسقي ؟ فسمع بو آخر فقال‪ :‬آه‪.‬‬
‫أصبح غدا إلى رسول اهلل (ص ) فقال‪ :‬ضح اهلل اللّيلة‪ -‬أو عجب من فعالكما‪-‬‬ ‫ت فإذا ىو قد مات‪ .‬فرجعت إلى ىشام فإذا ىو‬
‫ف شار ىشام‪ :‬انطلق بو إليو فج ه‬
‫صاصةٌ َوَم ْن يُو َق ُش َّح نَ ْف ِس ِو‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬
‫ف نزل اهلل َويُ ْؤث ُرو َن َعلى أَنْ ُفس ِه ْم َول َْو كا َن بِ ِه ْم َخ َ‬ ‫عمي فإذا ىو قد مات‪ .‬رحمة اهلل عليهم أجمعين‬
‫قد مات‪ ،‬فرجعت إلى ابن ّ‬

‫أقبل المهاجرون إلى المدينة َل يملكون من أمر الدنيا شي اً‪ ،‬قد تركوا أموالهم وما‬ ‫سنده البوصريي يف ((إحتاف اخلرية)) (‪.)325 /7‬‬
‫يملكون خلف ظهورىم وأقبلوا على ما عند اهلل عز وجل يرجون رحمتو ويخافون‬ ‫(‪ )3‬رواه البخاري (‪ )2048‬من حديث عبد الرمحن بن عوف رضي اهلل عنو‪.‬‬
‫عذابو‪ ،‬فاستقبلهم األنصار الذين تبوؤا الدار‪ ،‬وأكرموىم أيما إكرام ولم يبخلوا‬ ‫‪ -‬وفي غزوة اليرموك قال عكرمة بن أبي جهل‪ :‬قاتلت رسول اهلل (ص ) في مواطن‬
‫عليهم بشيء من حطام الدنيا بل قاسموىم األموال والزوجات ‪ ...‬في صورة يعجز‬ ‫وأفر منكم اليوم؟ ثم نادى‪ :‬من يبايع على الموت؟ فبايعو عمو الحارث بن ىشام‪،‬‬
‫عن وصفها اللسان‪ ،‬ويضعف عن تعبيرىا البيان‪:‬‬ ‫وضرار بن األزور في أربعمائة من وجوه المسلمين وفرسانهم‪ ،‬فقاتلوا قدام فسطاط‬
‫‪ -‬فعن أنس بن مال رضي اهلل عنو قال‪(( :‬لما قدم المهاجرون المدينة نزلوا على‬ ‫خالد حتى أثبتوا جميعا جراحا‪ ،‬وقتل منهم خلق منهم ضرار بن األزور رضي اهلل‬
‫األنصار في دورىم فقالوا‪ :‬يا رسول اهلل ما رأينا مثل قوم نزلنا عليهم أحسن مواساة‬ ‫عنهم ‪ ...‬فلما صرعوا من الجراح استسقوا ماء فجيء إليهم بشربة ماء فلما قربت‬

‫فقال‪ :‬ادفعها إليو‪ ،‬فتدافعوىا كلهم من واحد إلى واحد حتى ماتوا جميعا ولم‬ ‫ِ‬

‫فلما أمسينا أىدى لنا أىل بيت أو إنسان ما كان يهدي لنا‪:‬‬ ‫ثم قال‬
‫صرة‪ّ ،‬‬
‫‪ -‬أخذ عمر بن الخطّاب رضي اهلل عنو أربعمائة دينار‪ ،‬فجعلها في ّ‬
‫قالت‪ :‬ففعلت‪ .‬قالت‪ّ :‬‬
‫شاة وكفنها‪ .‬فدعتني عائشة فقالت‪ :‬كلي من ىذا‪ ،‬فهذا خير من قرص )‪)3( .‬‬ ‫ثم تل ّك ساعة في البيت حتّى تنظر‬
‫الجراح‪ّ ،‬‬
‫للغالم‪ :‬اذىب بها إلى أبي عبيدة بن ّ‬
‫ابن عمر نموذج آخر من نماذج اْليثار الفذة‬ ‫ماذا يصنع بها‪ .‬فذىب بها الغالم إليو فقال‪ :‬يقول ل أمير المؤمنين‪ :‬اجعل ىذه‬
‫‪ -‬مرض ابن عمر فاشتهى عنبا ‪-‬أول ما جاء العنب‪-‬ف رسلت صفية ‪-‬يعني‬ ‫ثم قال‪ :‬تعالي يا جارية اذىبي بهذه‬

‫الرسول السائل‪ ،‬فلما دخل بو قال السائل‪:‬‬

‫السائل‪ .‬فقال ابن عمر‪ :‬أعطوه إياه‪ .‬ف عطوه إياه‪ .‬ثم أرسلت بدرىم آخر فاشترت‬ ‫ف خبره فوجده قد أع ّد مثلها لمعاذ بن جبل‪ .‬وقال‪ :‬اذىب بهذا إلى معاذ بن جبل‪،‬‬
‫السائل‪ ،‬فلما دخل قال السائل‪ :‬السائل‪ .‬فقال ابن عمر‪:‬‬ ‫الرسول‬

‫خيرا أب ًدا‪ .‬ثم أرسلت بدرىم آخر فاشترت بو‪.‬‬ ‫اذىبي إلى بيت فالن بكذا وبيت فالن بكذا‪ ،‬فاطّلعت امرأة معاذ فقالت‪ :‬ونحن‬

‫‪ -‬وا ْشتَ َهى يوماً سم َكةً‪ ،‬وَكا َن قَ ْد نَقوَ من مر ٍ ِ‬ ‫واهلل مساكين ف عطنا‪ .‬ولم يبق في الخرقة ّإَل ديناران فنحا بهما إليها‪ .‬فرجع الغالم‬

‫شاة‪ ،‬فقال‪ :‬إ ّن أخي فالنا وعيالو أحوج إلى ىذا منّا‪ .‬فبعث بو إليهم‪ ،‬فلم يزل‬ ‫السراج‪،‬‬
‫الرغفان‪ ،‬وأطف وا ّ‬
‫ي‪ ،‬ومعهم أرغفة معدودة َل تشبع جميعهم‪ ،‬فكسروا ّ‬

‫إيثار ‪ ...‬حتى للحيوان‬ ‫‪ -‬قال الهيثم بن جميل‪ :‬جاء فضيل بن مرزوق وكان من أئمة الهدى زىدا وفضال‬
‫‪ -‬خرج عبد اهلل بن جعفر إلى ضيعة لو فنزل على نخيل قوم وفيو غالم أسود‬ ‫إلى الحسن بن حيي ف خبره أن ليس عنده شيء فقام الحسن ف خرج ستة دراىم‪،‬‬
‫يعمل فيو إذ أتى الغالم بقوتو فدخل الحائط كلب ودنا من الغالم فرمى إليو الغالم‬ ‫وأخبره أنَّو ليس عنده غيرىا فقال‪ :‬سبحان اهلل أليس عندك غيرىا وأنا آخذىا‪،‬‬
‫بقرص ف كلو ثم رمى إليو الثاني والثالث ف كلو وعبد اهلل ينظر إليو فقال يا غالم كم‬ ‫ف خذ ثالثة وترك ثالثة "‪.‬‬
‫قوت كل يوم قال ما رأيت قال فلم آثرت بو ىذا الكلب قال ما ىي ب رض كالب‬ ‫‪ -‬وروي أن مسروقا أدان دينا ثقيال وكان على أخيو خيثمة دين قال فذهب‬
‫إنو جاء من مسافة بعيدة جائعا فكرىت أن أشبع وىو جائع قال فما أنت صانع‬ ‫مسروق فقضى دين خيثمة وىو َل يعلم وذىب خيثمة فقضى دين مسروق وىو َل‬
‫اليوم قال أطوي يومي ىذا فقال عبد اهلل بن جعفر أَُلم على السخاء إن ىذا الغالم‬ ‫يعلم (‪)1‬‬
‫ألسخى مني فاشترى الحائط والغالم وما فيو من اآلَلت ف عتق الغالم ووىبو منو‬ ‫‪ -‬وقال عباس بن دىقان ما خرج أحد من الدنيا كما دخلها إَل بشر بن الحرث‬

‫سماحة الشيخ‪ ،‬وىو يطلب العلم عند المشايخ في مقتبل عمره_كان إذا سلم‬ ‫(‪ )3‬انظر ((جوانب من سرية اإلمام عبد العزيز بن باز رمحو اهلل)) حملمد بن إبراىيم‬
‫عليو أحد دعاه إلى غدائو أو عشائو‪ ،‬وَل يحتقر ما يضعو للناس‪ ،‬ويجعل اهلل في‬ ‫احلمد ص (‪)507 - 506‬‬
‫طعامو خيراً كثيراً (‪.)2‬‬
‫يؤثرون لو بعيونهم ‪ ..‬والجزاء من جنس العمل‬
‫كان الشيخ ابن باز رحمو اهلل قريباً من الناس ‪ ..‬محبباً إليهم ‪ ..‬ومن أعجب‬
‫قصص اْليثار التي حصلت مع الشيخ قصتان‪:‬‬
‫‪ -‬أوَلىا‪ :‬لرجل مسلم من بلجيكا وىو مغربي األصل قدم على سماحة الشيخ‬
‫فلما مثل أمام سماحتو قال‪:‬‬
‫ت مهدياً ل إحدى عيني ولقد‬
‫يا سماحة الشيخ أنا فالن من محبي وقد ج ك‬
‫س لت طبيباً مختصاً فقال لي‪َ :‬ل مانع وسوف أذىب إلى المستشفى وإلى الطبيب‬
‫المختص لنزعها وإىدائها ل ‪.‬‬
‫فقال لو سماحة الشيخ‪ :‬يا أخي بارك اهلل ل في عيني ‪ ،‬ونفع بهما‪ ،‬نحن‬
‫راضون بما كتب اهلل لنا‪.‬‬
‫‪ -‬وفي عام ‪1418‬ى جاء رجل من السودان وأخذ يتجول بين المكاتب في دار‬
‫اْلفتاء في الرياض وىو يقول‪ :‬لم أجد من يتجاوب معي وَل من يدخلني على‬
‫سماحة الشيخ‪ ،‬قال الشيخ محمد بن موسى الموسى‪ :‬فقلت لو‪ :‬وماتريد من‬
‫سماحتو‪.‬‬
‫فقال‪ :‬أنا أتيت إلى سماحتو مهدياً إليو إحدى عيني أدخلوني على سماحتو‪،‬‬
‫قال يا سماحة الشيخ أنا من بالد‬
‫ف خذت بيده وأدخلتو عليه فلما رآه وسلم عليو ‪:‬‬
‫السودان ج ت إلي مهدياً إحدى عيني فتفضل بقبولها وخذ إحداىا‪ .‬فشكر لو‬
‫سماحة الشيخ صنيعو ومحبتو وقال‪:‬‬
‫بارك اهلل ل في عيني ‪ ،‬نحن راضون بما كتب اهلل لنا (‪.)3‬‬
