ABSTRACT

The summer internship for PGCHM students is a training process to familiarize

them with corporate world while working in their area of interest. For summer
internship we were placed at Sharekhan a stock broking firm to get knowledge
about Indian Financial Market which was our area of interest.

Our organization provided us an on-the-job training. As per the training we were

placed in department related to share market for a specified period to get experience.

At Sharekhan we all were placed at the company’s head office and at there we were
under the guidance of respective Manager who helped and guided us in our learning
process about Indian Financial Market.

In dealing in equity, futures & options and mutual funds we learnt about the
different processes used by Sharekhan for trading.
