To whom it may concern,

I am so excited to present to you my resume for the Elementary teaching position available at
your school. With my teaching certificate and a degree in Elementary Education from Arizona
State University, I am eager to get my teaching career started. I am very enthusiastic about
becoming a teacher who works well with all types of students with all different learning
techniques and personalities, and one who is compassionate, caring, enthusiastic, and intelligent.
My attached resume will show the experience that I have working with children, including
nannying, student teaching, and multiple internships in elementary schools. I also have a lot of
leadership experience, giving me the ability to have the responsibility to manage a classroom full
of students.
As a college student, I was part of a sorority for four years, holding many leadership positions,
including Chapter President. I feel as though this gave me the experience necessary to be able to
handle any situation thrown at me in life and in a classroom, and I feel as though it gave me a lot
of experience in handling a crowd full of people. My greatest strengths are my ability to work in
a group, my organization and my determination.
With this in mind, I cannot wait to get my teaching career started, and I think that this
Elementary school would be the perfect fit for me. I hope to have the opportunity to meet with
you personally to discuss my qualifications and abilities in this position, as I am confident I
would be a great fit. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,
Jacquelyn Kelly
