Abstract
This study was conducted to know the extent practices of the grade 11 students in classroom, offices, building, faculty, and comfort
room; to know the significant difference on the extent practices of the grade 11 students in CHSF when they are grouped according to
profile variables and to know the challenges that the grade 11 students encounter in adhering the goals of CHSF. The research meth-
odology includes combination of qualitative and quantitative research design. The researchers used a descriptive-comparative re-
search and a questionnaire was being utilized in order to gather data from the respondents. The gathered data was subjected to statisti-
cal tests using frequency and t-test to find the significant difference on the extent practice of CHSF. Result showed that there is a sig-
nificant difference in terms of strand or track and there is no significant difference when grouped according to sex. Overall, the Grade
11 Students practice the goals of CHSF in the school.

In this study, the researchers used a combination of qualitative

and quantitative research design. The researchers adapted the
question from the CHSF Manual to formulate the question-
naires. The descriptive-comparative type of research was used
to gather the data from 150 respondents with the used of ran-
dom-stratified sampling coming from the STEM, ABM, HE,
HUMSS, AD and ICT strands/track. Also, the researchers used
questionnaires to know the extent of practice of the grade 11
students on the goals of CHSF in the classroom, building,
comfort rooms, canteen, laboratories and school grounds. Figure 3. Frequency for the challenges in adhering the goals
of CHSF

Discussion
When grouped according to profile variables in terms of sex, they always practice the goals of CHSF, while in terms of strands/
track the ABM, HE and Arts and Design strands/track always practiced the CHSF. On the other hand, the remaining strands/track
which is the HUMSS, ICT and STEM often practiced the CHSF. These indicate that the strand of ABM, HE and AD are the most
responsible in adhering the goals of CHSF among the respondents. There is no significant difference in terms of sex and strand on
the extent of practice regarding CHSF. Moreover, the challenges that most students encountered in adhering the goals of CHSF is
“taking small dirt as small things” while the least challenge is “I’m discourteous to my fellow students and teachers”.

Conclusion
The extent practice of students when group according to profile variables with regards to the CHSF goals in terms of sex are
both male and female always practice the CHSF. In terms of strand/track, the ABM, HE and AD always practice the goals of
CHSF. There is no significant difference on the extent practice of the respondents on CHSF when grouped according to profile
variables specifically in terms of sex and strand/track. “Taking small dirt as small things” is the most challenging part that the
Grade 11 students encountered in adhering the goals of CHSF and “being discourteous to the fellow students/ teachers” as the
least challenging part that the respondents encountered.
