IV. History of the Plant/Industry

The CoDev business model was designed to give small businesses

access to the benefits of an international workforce without the
distraction and high costs of opening their own remote office.
CoDev would do the recruiting overseas, but let the client act as the
hiring manager and select the best person for the job. CoDev would
provide the office space, IT support, timekeeping, and payroll services,
as well as be the legal employer, handling any labor issues. The
business owner would have all the benefits without the high
startup costs and headaches. Headquartered in Utah and with their
offshore operations in the Philippines, the CoDev team started
offering their model to the business community and it grew to over 500
employees in 2011.

 I learned from our field is that, the IT/CS or any computer releated
course is very enourmous field. We should never stop learning in comes of
technology, so that we will never left behind from techonology. Also I learned
that in comes in techonolgy, we can do almost everything and there’s no
impossible with vision ahead.

IV. History of the Plant/Industry

Draft Academy opened in 2012 with its flagship program in Visual

Design an intensive one-year training course in graphic design,
advertising, and branding. Since then it has also added short-term,
month-long classes in Photoshop and Illustrator. All these courses are
offered at Draft Academy in The Greenery, Mabolo, while the 2D
Animation Program will be held at the Draft Extension School at The
Henry Hotel, Banilad.

IV. History of the Plant/Industry

RealPage moved its corporate headquarters to Richardson, Texas in

2016, and in 2017 acquired four companies - apartment market data
provider Axiometrics, utility and energy management solutions
company American Utility Management, revenue management and
pricing provider Lease Rent Options and also On-Site, a leasing and
marketing platform company.
In 2018, RealPage announced an agreement to purchase electronic
payment platform company ClickPay, located in Hackensack, New
Jersey.

I learned that most of the IT companies in Cebu do not hire fresh graduates,
due to lack of expirences. Also I learned that trouble shooting a computer is a
relaxing job in IT field.

demand in company. Also if you are good at any programmer langguage they

IV. History of the Plant/Industry

Mandaue Command Center is a company that installs CCTV cameras on

roads and streets. The company will also set up more monitor screens
and servers in the Bantay Mandaue Command Center, where the traffic
lights are controlled and CCTV footage viewed. The cameras have
captured countless accidents, and have provided police investigators
information, like in the murder case of a lawyer who was killed by
motorcycle-riding assailants in Barangay Looc last year.

VIII. Learning Experience

I learned that techonolgy is so important to us. Like what I saw in Bantay
Mandaue. Also its good to put some twist in their video recorder such as
OpenCV which is good for detecting accident and many more.
