I am working this time to let the students engage with me while I’m doing the opening and let them
understand the lesson.

Reflection:

Students as always, they sit on the carpet and waiting for me to start teaching
them, I asked about what they learned before and chose randomly and the
students who I have chosen them answered me. After they answer me I told
them that we will sing a song of sounds together and I have chosen two students
and start singing together.

Also, I wrote on the board the letter J j and asked them what letter is this and ask
them to tell me the sound of it. After that I told them what they will do in each
group and I explained everything, then I sent them group by group to their set’s. I
walked around to make sure that they are understanding what I asked for. I
turned the lights off and said “macaroni cheese” they already know what I mean
when I say this word, that’s mean students need to clean up and come to the
carpet. At the end I ask one of each group to come up and explain what he/she
did in their groups.
