Delta – Export results
Portable mode
All the results of analysis done are automatically saved on the Innov-X Delta XRF analyser.
To access these results in excel, please follow these instructions.
1. Tap on Home 2. Tap on Results

5. To customize the export tap on the tools 6. Tap on the item in the left hand side
list and then tap the right arrow to
send an item to the export list. Tap
on an item in right hand side list
and then tap the left arrow to take
this item off the export list.
Select the separator as “Comma”
Tap “Set Chemistry” to select which

elements should be in the export document.

7. Tap on the element in the left hand side 8. Tap “OK”

list and then tap the right arrow to send
it to the export list. 9. Tap “OK” again. You have now set up
the export format.
Tap on an element in the right hand side list
and then tap the left arrow to take this
element off the export list.

10. Tap on the date of the results that 11. If the output file name is set to “Autoname”
you are wanting to export or tap the results will be exported to DELTA

If you chose “Prompt” you can select your
own destination.

12. After the results have been exported 13. On the bottom of the screen in blue
writing will be the file name of the export
(Res_11_26_10_R.csv).
14. Your results have been successfully exported 15. Tap the back icon

16. Tap Measure to continue using your 17. Setup and then
Analyser or tap home then
18. Exit. to exit the Innov-X software

To open the results document that you have exported.
1. Ensure that the Delta is connected and communicating (via Microsoft Activesync or Windows Mobile
Device Centre) to your computer, Go to My Computer\Delta\My Documents\InnovX\Data\Export\ and
open the .csv file with excel

2. If necessary, in excel convert the format from text to columns

3. Select the column A
4. Then tap on the “Text to columns” option under the “Data” menu
5. Follow the on screen steps, choosing:
a. Select the delimiters as Tab and Comma, tap “Next”
b. Select “finish”

8. Select OK to Do you want to replace the contents of the destination cells?

9. You now have the exported results available in excel.
