REFLECTION

I enjoyed the Intro to International Politics better than I was anticipating. I think it’s one of my

favorite classes in my college years. The course of the class was amazing, and I learned a lot from the

teaching, and it has shaped me for the future.

Originally, I was going to take the class later in the future, so I took it earlier than I expected.

During the course and my second essay assignment , I learned a lot about how the international

organizations or intergovernmental organizations work such as The United Nations operate throughout

the world.

I enjoyed learning the history of the intergovernmental organizations the purpose of it and

how they have been a huge influence in domestic politics for decades. I was actually surprised that they

have a bigger influence when it comes to war especially in underdeveloped countries to form diplomacy

solution and to solve the conflicts. I think the assignment connects to other areas of studies in global

level such as business, economics and law. It takes a variety of social science and humanities because we

might want to be aware about what’s going on in the world and if we want to participate about certain

issues, you could do it, you just need to be open minded.

The assignment has helped my growth, my intellectual level because I learned a lot about

the International relations and how we individuals can change the world as we want it to be. I am a

globally minded person, I care or pay attention to a what’s going on around the world. I speak 3

languages and planning to learn other foreign languages so I will have a benefit career and I personally
like to travel. I would like to be involved in some Intergovernmental organizations like the UN and be

involved to one the famous organizations that help people to be involved called Global Citizen. I am

about to graduate from Business Associate of art, but I realized that I am actually more familiar with

International Relations or Politics and I want to make a difference around the world.
