THE VALUE OF COMMUNICATION 1

Abstract

People are not having a real human connection between each other when they are physically

together. The value of communication is diminishing. Today’s generation would rather do

everything through their mobile electronics. One of the main reasons Interpreters and Translators

are overlooked because it is hard enough processing the meaning but turning it into a different

language back and forth. People are deciding to learn a new language, and there are great

benefits. Some of them being more creative and also improves cognitive skills. If people learned

a language this means less need for Interpreters, yet they get paid a very good amount. For every

language an interpreter knows comes with different salaries, but also depending on the state and

what kind of area field they are in. There are different ways to interpret and to translate. People

the do not understand i​t is going to be harder to communicate with someone face to face meaning

harder to interpret. Communicating with someone is not going to be a soft skill anymore. Most

children are going to grow up being shy. Humans’ happiness can be negatively affect when there

is no physical connection with another human. Interpreters help with this and communicate with

talking to immigrants and travelers. Talking to through an interpreter may be different, but it

would be worse to not talk at all.
