1. What language systems/skills are being taught?
Lexis: one of the language systems that is being taught is lexis, because the teacher is trying to
find the meaning of the word “Neighborhood”.
Phonology: the teacher shows the students how to pronounce well the word “Neighborhood”
Listening: Some students work with a partner and they listen to other students some questions.
Speaking: another studens are asking their partners about the lesson

2. What´s the seating arrangement(s) used? Is it ok or you would change it?


In the first part oof the lesson, I change the seating arrangement becasu the teacher can’t
interact in a good way with some studnets. Columns would be a good seating arrangement.
3. How does the teacher introduce the lesson?
The teacher remember what the last lesson was about (free time and weekends). To star the
new unit the teacher ask to the students if they have any idea about the meaning of the word
neighborhood. He uses elicit to try to find the meaning of the word. The students uses previous
knowledge to understand the meaning of the new word.
4. Does the teacher do anything to reduce TTT and increase STT? If so, what´s it?
Yes, he does. The teacher tries to use students´ previous knowledge to find the meaning of the
new word. In addition, the students are working their speaking a listening skills with their
partners.
5. In your opinion, does the teacher have a good classroom management?
Yes, He does. The teacher manages his classroom in a good way, he solves dabuts from the
students, he works with elicit to find meanings of new words.
