I am writing to apply for the Pharmacist position. I received my bachelor’s degree in

Pharmacy from Philadelphia University in Jordan in 2017. I immediately started working as
a staff pharmacist after graduation at a community pharmacy in Jerash.

During my work for two years now, I gained extensive knowledge on drugs in Jordan and
experience in performing day-to-day community-pharmacy functions including reading
prescriptions, dispensing, pharmaceutical calculations, patient counseling on medication
usage and side effects, processing insurance claims, drug order and communication with
physicians and pharmaceutical drugstores and companies. I excelled in prioritizing tasks to
guarantee pharmacy efficiency.

I am hardworking and able to work under pressure. I am flexible and good team player. I
used to pleasantly work for full days to cover for absent colleagues when needed. In addition
to other qualities, my work has improved my communication skills, as I have to deal with
patients coming from different background on a daily basis. This experience has helped me to
be more patient and tolerant as well and equipped me with persuading skills needed in the
pharmacy industry. Moreover, I became more adaptable and able to work in almost any
environment as I am sometimes requested to rotate between the three branches of the
pharmacy.
