Course Description
The National Service Training Program 1 (NSTP 1-CWTS 1) deals with the Principles of Enhancing and Promoting Civic Consciousness and
Preparedness among the youth by instilling the Ethics of Service and Patriotism (NSTP Act of 2001).
The aforementioned program recognizes the critical and pivotal role the student-youth will perform in leading local initiatives in figuring out
programs and activities that will design and develop a road map for the Depressed, Underprivileged and Underserved communities on their
specific localities that will have a positive contribution to the national development.
The course will be dealing in details, the National Service Training Program – Republic Act 9163, its implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR)
with strict adherence to the its policies. Topics on Value Education will be taken up. Students will be exposed to the concept and context of
Leadership Training, Dimension of Development, Education, Waste Disposal Management as well as Recreation and Sports.
Topics on Disaster Preparedness such as Disaster, Family Disaster Plan, Safety and First Aid will be considered as part of the training-
education of the students. Entrepreneurship in general will be taught to give students overviews and ideas on the Entrepreneurial aspect of
learning.

Aside from the academic deficiency, other grounds for a failing grades are as follows:
