Why a simulation?

Simulation is the best way to identify cheapest but technically suitable solution allowing in this ma
the choice.

Why we need detailled plant data informations?

Generators circit breaker is a device that require a detailled study cause phenomena that happen m
applications:
-Missing current zero phenomena
-Out of phase switching
-High TRV and RRRV

If the user is confident that phenomena involved, (i.e. asymmetry of the current, Missing current ze
phase switching, TRV) during operation of CB in his own plant are "below" the limits of the tests rep
standard, no simulation is required (i.e. If user is sure that fault conditions are covered from test ma
standard IEC/IEEE 62271-37-013 a new VD4G can be provided without further check).

If no information about fault condition are present, a simulation is required in order to evaluate ana
