C. Course Objective:
1. General objective
This course is intended to help the nursing reviewee and to provide a knowledge
and attitude in the care of the sick client in the adult stage of growth and
development in any setting
2. Specific Objectives:
At the end of this review the nursing reviewee should be able to:
a. Analyze
b. Relate the pathophysiological changes brought about by stress / illness
to the care of the client
c. Utilize the nursing process in the management of the sick client to more
complex health situation
d. Integrate the following guidelines to nursing interventions applicable to
all common problems.
e. Uphold the dignity and worth of man through the provisions of
supportive nursing care
f. Utilize the knowledge of art and science in the care of man.
g. Analyze the economic and political system of the Philippine government
to impact health care delivery system.
h. Provide safe and therapeutic environment for the client
i. Implement the various roles of the nurse on the different levels of her

j. Record and report accurately and systematically pertinent aspects of
care
k. Work independently and or with the other members of the medical
