ALL ABOUT ME

Hola, amigos! Me llamo Sarah. Yo soy quince
anos. Mi cumpleanos es el quince de Noviembre.
Soy de Brooklyn, Nueva York.Yo soy amable,
generosa, inteligente, organizada, y trabajadora.
También, yo soy alta, bonita, joven y tengo grande
castaña ojos. Me gusta aprender el espanol,
comer la pizza, y pasar un rato con amigos. Pero,
no me gusta andar en patineta, en bicicleta a
caballo, o jugar el fútbol.

Yo presento Shakira. Tiene treinta y nueve anos.
Shakira’s cumpleanos es el dos de Febrero. Ella es de
Barranquilla, Colombia. Ella es una record producer,
entrepreneur, contante, song-writer, and fashion
designer. Tiene largo, rizado pelo rubio, y grande
castano ojos. También, ella es joven, baja, y delgado,
pero talentosa, bonita, amable, y trabajadora. Shakira es
una latina que es muy buena bailarina y cantante. A ella
le gusta escuchar la música y es generosa.
A good role model is…
Shakira! Everytime I hear her name or see those 7 letters, I would always sing her
hit songs titled “Waka Waka” or “Hips Don’t Lie”. I’ve been a fan for almost 5 years. She
is a great role model I’ve admired so far. At a young age, she worked hard to reach her
dreams. As she grown in the business, she decided to dedicate her fame to creating
positive change in the world. One focus is to help thousands of poor children whose
lives have been torn apart.

Besides her musical career, she opened a foundation for deserving kids in
Colombia. Because it was successful she spread the support worldwide; not only in
Columbia. She aimed to help children by giving them the opportunity to attend school.
Shakia provided these kids with hope. Her passionate mission improved the lives of
young colombians. Starting her own charity was a way to give back. Her desire to help
others showed me to put smile on others and that you're never too young to start living
your dream.
Shakira’s approach to opportunities

Early in her career, she only spoke Spanish, but, over time she learned to speak
English. Like me, learning a new language, Spanish is a bit challenging. Shakira
showed me to try something new, try my best and to take opportunities.
Shakira’s compassion, leadership, bravery, made her an inspirational women in
my life and others. The Spanish culture embraces her as a singer through her
songs but most of all, an icon for her commitment to social justice. She is the
definition of a Latina role model.
