1. INTRODUCTION
Further to Nigma LLC, hereunder referred to as the client via Email dated 24th April 2019,
Bureau VERITAS S.A. Dubai Branch is pleased to submit its best proposal for various third party
inspection services.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
This scope of work is in accordance with Bureau VERITAS Dubai branch methodology of Escalator
inspection which covering the applicable code requirement for Escalators (EN 115 as per Dubai
Municipality Regulations).

• Above rates are valid for normal working days/hours (Sunday- Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00pm
excluding Fridays, Saturdays, Public Holidays, Ramadan Timings (6 Hours) and night work)

• Working beyond the above normal working days/hours (in case required by the client)
shall be considered as over time and shall be provided at additional cost (AED 525/HOUR)
• Any idle time or non-working hours due to delay not attributed to BV inspectors shall be
back charged to the client at the same rate as above stipulated in the pricing matrix.
• Re-inspection is excluded from the above rates and shall be provided (in case required) at
the same rate as above.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
Full payment after the inspection and before any reports/certificates or email/fax of these
certificates will be released.
5. GENERAL TERMS
5.1 Bureau Veritas intervention is subject to the Bureau Veritas General Conditions of
Services; copy attached.
5.2 Bureau Veritas Dubai Branch should receive written confirmation/Local Purchase
Order to proceed at least 1 week before the starting date.
5.3 Nigma LLC will take all necessary dispositions to provide technicians, safe access &
calibrated load/test weights (if necessary) to perform the tests requested our surveyor
during the time of inspection.
5. VALIDITY
This offer is valid for 3 months from the date of proposal issue.
We trust the foregoing is acceptable to your goodselves and look forward to receiving your
further intimation.

6. TAXES
If a change in the law in UAE or Dubai relating to taxes, imposts, levies, duties, withholding taxes,
charges or other assessments of this nature (excluding to the extent based on the CONTRACTOR's
inventory, revenue, income, profit/losses or cost of finance) comes into effect after the
EFFECTIVE DATE (during the contract validity period) and increases the CONTRACTOR's costs in
performing its obligations under the AGREEMENT, the CONTRACTOR shall be entitled to an
equitable corresponding adjustment to his FEES.
