Dr. Jocelyn May Flor A. Cadena

Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
University of St. La Salle

Dear Dr. Cadena:

Greetings in the Mighty Name of Christ!

I, Jeyser T. Gamutia of BSN4B, am currently enrolled in the nursing subject NCA1_B. The
aforementioned subject has schedules that fall on Saturdays and, as a Seventh-day Adventist, it is
my belief that the Saturday is the Sabbath in which I am to solely spend my time in worship. For
this reason, I cannot recant my belief on the Sabbath and, therefore, I am unable to attend the
NCA classes on Saturdays.

Fully understanding the consequences of my decision--that may lead to my failing/dropping out

of the subject--I approached Dr. Trajera to seek her help regarding this matter.
Upon conversing with Dr. Sorongon of RGO Review Center, Dr. Trajera informed me that they
have agreed to let me take the exams/tests on other days such as during clinical duty week (the
alloted time would be in the afternoon, after the clinical exposure), and that they will take my
non-attendance into consideration.

In line with this, I would also like to ask your consideration regarding this matter.
I am fully aware of the risk that I am taking. Still, I am grateful for this privilege and opportunity
that have been given to me by Dr. Sorongon and Dr. Trajera. In like manner, I am also grateful
for your kind help regarding this matter.

Thank you once again and may God bless you abundantly.

Sincerely,

Jeyser T. Gamutia, BN4B
