Constitution and By-laws

ARTICLE I: ORGANIZATION NAME, AFFILIATION, AND LOGO

SECTION 1:NAME – Name of this club must be “DISCOVERIES AND FACTS”

SECTION 2: LOGO –

SECTION 3. AFFILIATION – Member of this club must be an officially enrolled student of

Christ the King College de Maranding

ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP AND DUES

SECTION 1: ELIGIBILITY – Membership shall open to all official enrollees of Christ the

King College de Maranding all academic area including

Elementary, High School, and College Department.

SECTION 2: DUES – Dues shall be Twenty Pesos only (P20.00) per semester. Other dues on

abscences in every meeting shall be payed Five Pesos only (P5.00).

 ARTICLE III: OFFICERS

SECTION 1: OFFICERS – The officers shall be a President, Vice-President, Secretary,

Treasurer, Auditor, and P.I.O.

SECTION 2: ELIGIBILITY – Officers must be a full-time student and active during meetings

and activities. It must also be an officially enrolled in the said school.

SECTION 3: ELECTION – The officers hall be elected by nominatiion and votation during the

first meeting of the organization.

SECTION 4: TERM – The officers shall serve depending on the remaining semester shall be

enrolled in the said school.

ARTICLE IV: DUTIES OF OFFICERS

SECTION 1: PRESIDENT – It shall be the duty of President to:

 Preside at meetings

 Represent the Club

 Perform such other duties as ordinarilly pertain to this

office

SECTION 2: VICE-PRESIDENT: It shall be the duty of the Vice-President to:

 Preside in the absence of the President

 Serve as chairperson of the Program Committee

SECTION 3: SECRETARY: It shall be the duty of the Secretary to:

 Record the minutes of all meetings

 Keep a file of the club’s records

SECTION 4: TREASURER - It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to:

 Receive all funds and process Request for Payment,

Deposit Slip, and Officer Signature Forms

SECTION 5: AUDITIOR – It shall be the duty of the Auditor to:

 Keep an itemized account of all receipts and make reports

as directed

SECTION 6: P.I.O – It shall be the duty of the P.I.O to:

 Produces printed and video material about the organization

for dissemination to the public

 Responsible for organizing special events.

ARTICLE V: MEETINGS

SECTION 1: MEETINGS – Regular meetings shall be held at least thrice a month during the

regular semester.

SECTION 2: SPECIAL MEETING – Special meetings may be called by President or Vice-

President with the approval of the moderator and exceutive

committee.

ARTICLE VI: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

SECTION 1: RESPONSIBILITY – Management of this club shall be vested in an Executing

Committee responsible to the entire membership.

SECTION 2: MEMBERSHIP – This committee shall consists of all members including

officers as listed in Article III: Section I and the faculty moderator.

SECTION 3: MEETINGS: This committee shall meet at least once between regular meetings

of the club to organize and plan for future activities.

ARTICLE VII: MODERATOR

SECTION 1: SELECTION – There shall be a faculty moderator who shall be selected during a

regular academic year by the membership.

SECTION 2: DUTIES – The responsibilities of the faculty moderator shall be to:

 Maintain an awareness of the activities and programs sponsored by the

student club.

 Meet on a regular basis with the leader of the student club to discuss

upcoming meetings, long range plans, goals, and problems of the club.

 Attend regular meetings, executive board meetings as often as schedule

allows.

 Assist in the orientation of new officers.

 Explain and clarify campus policy and procedures that apply to the club.

 Provide direction in the area of parliamentary procedure, meeting

facilitation, group-building, goal setting, and program planning.

 Assist the club treasurer in monitoring expenditures, fundraising

activities, and corporate sponsorship to maintain an accurate and up-to-

date account ledger.

  Inform club members of those factors that constitute unacceptable

behavior on the part of the club members, and the possible consequence

of said behaviors.

ARTICLE VII: COMMITTEES

SECTION 1: PROGRAM COMMITTEE – A program committee composed of the Vice-

President as chairperson and the other members of the committee shall

be appointed by the President, whose duty shall be to plan the overall

program of the club.

SECTION 2: SPECIAL COMMITTEES AND OTHERS – The President shall have the

authority to appoint any special committees, with the approval of the

Executive Committee and Faculty Moderator, from time to time as need

demands.

Vision:

The Discoveries and Facts club aims to enhance the individual capabilities in terms of

creating new ideas though connecting to the undescover things and also to know the beauty of

the untold stories.

Mission:

To contribute and develop the ancestor of the undiscoverd things.

To appreciate the importance of histoy and to impart crucial information.

To provide and to promote the essence of the undiscoverd things.
