IMPACT OF ELECTRONIC SMOKING AMOUNG YOUTHS LIVING IN URBAN

SETTINGS ( DAGUPAN, LINGAYEN, URDENATTA

The survey was a cross sectional study of youth living in dagupan,lingayen,urdenatta

18 -40 years of age between December and febuary 2018. The survey ascess the
impact of electric smoking among youths and involves questionarrie given to the
respective respondents.

A total 100 respondents were interviewed, while 97 were accurate and 3 was
invalid. The questionarrie was done in English and the privacy of each respondents was
ensured.

MEASURES
SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Respondents indicated their sex, year, and month of birth. It also indicates the
frequency in which they use electronic cigarettes.

USE OF E-CIGARETTES:

Youths were asked have they use the electronic cigarette, history of smoking
cigarette and the cost of the cigarettes.

FREQUENCY OF CURRENT SMOKING:

Frequency of current smoking was measured by asking the youth have often
they smoke e-cigarettes at present.

RESEARCH ETHICS:

The survey was voluntary and completed among mostly. The were asked for
their consent to participate and if they said no, we still thanks them and moved on to the
next probable respondents .
