We write with regard to the above referenced matter and on behalf of the Applicant herein.

We wish to bring the attention of the Ld. Registrar to the fact that the above application was
duly filed on 26th August, 2014 at the Trade Marks Registry, New Delhi. Please find attached
the copy of the application as filed for your reference.

We humbly submit that a routine check on the online database of the Trade Marks Registry on
11th February, 2016 has revealed that the above mentioned mark has been examined. The
Online Examination Report dated 14th December, 2015 has been uploaded in the online records
of the Trade Marks Registry. However, the aforesaid examination report does not bear the
dispatch number or any date or any signature of the Learned Registrar. A copy of the aforesaid
online examination report is enclosed herewith for your ease of reference.

We wish to inform you that this application was transferred to our care and accordingly we had
file the request on Form TM-16 on 23rd September, 2015 to bring on record the change of name
from TYCO ELECTRONICS AMP GMBH to TE CONNECTIVITY GERMANY GMBH
along with the request to bring ourselves as agent for services in India. The same has been
adjudicated, allowed and updated in the online portal. A copy of the online status dated 19th
November, 2015 evidencing the same is enclosed for your reference. However, the examination
report uploaded online dated 14th December, 2015 erroneously mentioned the applicant’s name
as TYCO ELECTRONICS AMP GMBH.

We humbly submit that we have till date not received the official Examination Report in the
above matter. We request the Ld. Registrar to serve upon us the Examination Report at the
earliest. Furthermore, the period of one month to respond to the examination will commence
only upon receipt of the original Examination Report as per Rule 38 (5) of the Trade Marks
Rules, 2002.

As the Applicant does not wish to abandon the above application, we are hereby filing our
preliminary response to the Online Examination Report by way of abundant caution and due
diligence.
