New Yorkers understand the importance of rent regulation, whether or not they
benefit from it directly. In addition to regulated tenants, the overwhealming majority of
homeowners, public housing residents, subsidized and unregulated tenants support
strengthening the rent laws.

In 2019, we have the momentum to strengthen rent regulation in New York.
