and answering the five questions I have set as a quiz. All they have to do is read the
question and then click the correct answer. This would count as an exit ticket for the end
B. This would help enhance the learning experience for the children because it is a quiz on
the computer. After a child answers a question it shows a funny meme. Having a fun
meme after a question is right will encourage the child to do their best on every question.
Children love to link fun with learning, so this is an awesome way to do it.
C. This tool helps me assess learning in the instruction because after the child is done I can
see their score. If it is logged in under the child’s name the score will go under his/her
D. This assessment tool is more effective than a pencil and paper test because it allows me
as a teacher to watch the child demonstrate what they know, it times every question on its
E. The data is collected by user login and has to take the assignment or game that I made.
Once the student takes the test or plays the game I can see what they got. It does not
matter if they are logged in under a student of mine because I can see the scores of
everyone who takes the quiz or plays the game. I would use the results as an exit ticket
and whatever questions they got right out of the number I assigned will be put in the
Menti
A. I would use Menti in my instruction by using the photo quiz function that they
offer. The photo quiz is a question that is asked and a photo is the answer. I would
use this in my classroom for a colors quiz with the whole class. I would ask a
question such as “Which is the color purple” and then have a photo of purple and
yellow. The children would then choose the photo that represents the color purple.
B. This would help enhance the learning experience for the children because it is an
electronic way to have a quiz that would usually be done with pieces of paper.
Colors interest children a lot, and using technology which children have so much
C. This tool helps me assess learning in the instruction because it will show me who
voted for which photo that was being presented. Every child will have some sort
of electronic device and as a class everyone will answer individually and it will
D. This is a more effective tool than regular pencil and paper test because it gets the
children more excited and makes them more eager to learn. Menti’s photo quiz
option makes it possible for the children have an enjoyable learning experience.
The competition that this type of quiz brings will cause children to perform at a
higher rate because they do not want to lose to their friend next to them.
E. The data is collected by showing which username votes for what answer. Children
pick usernames and then sign up for the quiz with a given code that I will have on
the board. The code will then move all of the children to the quiz. After the quiz is

finished, I will get a list of the top ranked children and who answered what
question. This strategy is a very easy and efficient way to collect data.
Nearpod
having the children complete it as a post test for the week of what we learned. I
would have the presentation cover what we learned earlier in that week and then I
B. This emphasizes the learning for children because it gives them the opportunity to
take control of what they are learning. I think that children would enjoy this a lot
more than just a normal lesson and quiz because they get to choose what pace
they go at, and they also get to press buttons, highlight on their electronic device,
C. This tool will help assess learning because I can see how the children learn on
their own and at their own pace. I will be able to see at the end how long each
student took during the lesson and what they got on the quiz at the end. I will then
be able to correlate the time spent on the lesson, to the score on the quiz.
D. This is a more effective tool than a regular assessment because there are many
more options in Nearpod that a classroom, or regular assessment does not have.
One tool that it has that is so great is that there is an option to look at the class
average of the quiz. This is such a great feature because it saves so much time
from grading the quiz manually, and also because it can average all of the class
E. The data can either be collected as a class, or individually and the teacher can
decide if he or she would like one or the other. After all of the children take the
quiz at the end of the lesson, the scores report to my account and I will be able to
see how each student does. This collection of data is very easy to find, and
understand!
