Student Writing Goal: figuring out why electric cars are good for the environment
Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
To help save planet earth but also to warn people about harmful gas vehicles
To show how electric vehicles affect the environment what type of cars that are better equipped for the mission.
How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I performed well because my senior paper was mostly focused on why electric cars are better for the earth’s
health.
But my topic seemed extremely difficult to find arguments but on the other hand it was quite fun.
What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
Researching was cool learning how electric cars progressed over the years.
History was pretty cool getting other sides of the argument was pretty interesting.
I choose to revise it to get something more out of my senior paper which was a start on revising my essay
The only thing I would really want fix for my essay is punctuation and certain word functions.
What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will take my time to gather my resources and stay on time with deadline dates.
I want to fix my goals and reasoning behind my writing because when I look over it, it looks like trash and
sometimes it doesn’t make any sense.
Transitions, my transitions from one paragraph to the next just suck it’s usually all over the place but I want to
do better on my transitions and word organization.
To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I researched and learned many things about my topic like tesla electric cars have a 200-mile charge radius if I’m
correct?
Not Quite, I mean I wrote what needed to be done but did I understand it? To a certain degree yes but it's hard
knowing what you write is true even if you write it on a paper mixed thoughts and mixed Quotes, statements
and ideas.
The main thing I want for my writing is an organization flow, figuring out what goes where and how I can have
a clean writing essay.
3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.
