Post High School Goals
In our lives, we all go through changes whether it is physically,
mentally, or spiritually. This year has become one of the most incredible transition. I am beyond thankful for where I am at today. Would it not for my family, friends and teacher’s support, I would not be in sports. My goal is achieve balance in my life. It is imperative that once an athlete, good grades has to be maintained. Academic is by far my priority. There are days when athletes have to leave school and be absent due to competition. Coming back tired, I have to chase my classmates to find out what went on different classes during that day. Then, I began to start catching up on everything I have missed. I have been dedicating my time on academics, sports and extra- curricular activities, day-in and day-out. I always tell myself to keep moving forward no matter what the circumstance presents. I have to be on task and be able to deliver what is expected. I remain focused on any project and do the best I can. I am getting closer to my goal. As a junior at Great Oak High School in Temecula, I have matured quite well. Before, I used to suffer and keep my frustration to myself. Now, I learned how to better myself, how to adapt to different situations and personalities, and bravely reach out for help and vice-versa. I make people aware that I welcome helping others in need. I surround myself with positive people and positive thoughts. I watched my friends turn into amazing individual. They inspire and motivate me to strive more and become successful in my lifetime. My dream is to become an oncologist, a LPGA Player, a philanthropist, advocator for the young ones and leaving behind a powerful legacy.
