What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this text was to compare how Macbeth’s theme of appearance vs. reality is to the things in
society. It was a fun essay to write because it showed me how the things in society are like when you look
through the lens of appearance vs. reality.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I received an 80 on the assignment because I had some mistake that I needed to fix up. I was able to fix up the
mistakes and add more into my essay. With the help of Ms. Figueroa, I was able to fix

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
The aspect of this piece that I believe that I did well was I stayed on topic throughout the whole essay. Even
if I had different topics that followed with the theme, is stayed in topic within the paragraph.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I chose to revise this assignment because there were times when I over extended a quote when I just needed
to put in the important parts.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
In the next writing assignment, what I will do better is to make sure I only include the quotes needed. I
needed to make sure that I am on topic. Make sure that I don’t repeat and I use the correct facts and statistics.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I was able to achieve my previously stated goals because my teacher helped me. I was able to learn how I
would stay on topic.
