 Student’s will be able to buy and sell in a toy shop

Activity Materials Time Procedure

1 Welcome - 2 minutes T invites Ss to stand up and sing the Hello, how are you? song.
2 Warm up Flashcards 10 minutes We will play Memory Game with parents. T delivers the flashcards to some students. Ss approach the board and say
about toys the words. T jumbles the cards and pastes them on the board. Ss find the pairs and say the words.
3 Revision Prices tags 5 minutes In two teams, we play Race to the board. T divides the class in two teams and places price tags at the back of the class
and in two piles. T reads some sentences about price (e.g. The balls costs 50 pesos.) Ss pick the right price tags and attach
flashcards it to the flashcard.

4 Revision Sentences 10 minutes T copies elicits from Ss where they can find these objects. Then copies on the board the phrase “At the Toy Shop”. T
cutouts places on the board the following sentences scrambled:

A: Can I have a doll, please?


B: Yes, here you are.
A: How much is it?
B: It is 60 pesos.

T writes on the board Order the words. T invites Ss and parents to approach the board and order the sentences.
Once finished, T invites Ss in pairs to read the dialogues. T encourages some parents to do the same.
5 Round up Toys from 10 minutes T divides the class in two teams. T invites Ss to their toy shops and delivers some money to parents. Ss get their price
Ss tags. Parents and students buy at the toy shops in two groups.
