Former West Virginia Neurosurgeon Dr.

Charles Rosen Relocates to Central


Illinois

Bloomington, IL, May 04, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Charles L. Rosen, a neurosurgeon whose expertise is
focused on cranial base and neurovascular surgery, as well as complex intradural tumors of the posterior
fossa and spinal cord, has accepted a position with Central Illinois Neuro Health Sciences (CINHS).

He practices at both CINHS in Bloomington, Ill, as well as Champaign, Ill.

“He is a renowned vascular neurosurgeon who has particular experience and noted expertise in cranial
base surgery, neurovascular disease, and neuro-oncology,” said Central Illinois Neuro Health Sciences
when describing Dr. Rosen.

In previous years, Dr. Rosen served as Department Chair of Neurological Surgery at West Virginia
University (WVU) School of Medicine from 2012 through 2017, following his 2011 appointment as
Interim Department Chair.

He joined the faculty at WVU in 2001 and held various positions in the WVU Department of
Neurosurgery, including vice chair, program director of the neurosurgery training program, director of
research and the neurosurgical research laboratories, and director of cranial base surgery.

decades and has a cadre of highly trained and caring physicians,” said neurosurgeon, Dr. Rosen. “I also

2018, by continuing to discuss relevant neurosurgery topics through written articles and first-person
videos.

Dr. Rosen's latest videos discuss aneurysms, specifically in the case of actress Emilia Clarke, Chiari
malformation, face pain, and more.

In addition to aneurysms and neurovascular surgery (including clipping of aneurysms), Dr. Rosen
specializes in cranial base tumors, meningiomas, stroke research and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Rosen's
