1. Name: Google Docs

a. URL: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/

b. Description of Tool: Through google docs a lot of things can be created

such as documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. All the work that is

made by google docs are saved to google’s servers. Open documents are

automatically saved, which is amazing because a person will never lose

any data. Also, collaboration between users take place; individuals that

use google Docs get to share, open, and edit work with others at the same

time without a problem. If anyone makes changes or is looking at the

work, the owner will be notified right away through via e-mail.

c. How tool can be used by students: This tool can be used in many ways by

my students. They will be using this web in order to write papers, do

presentations and do spreadsheets when assigned. I believe that they will

benefit from this tool because it’s easy to use and it saves all their work

right away.

d. The way that the teacher can use this tool is by doing presentation for the

whole class, when she has to keep all the grades in order (she can use a

spreadsheet). Also, the teacher can write important papers/notes/letter for

parents or students.

e. Some advantages of using the tool are that the students won’t have to

worry about losing their work because everything gets save right away.

Also, the web is FREE!

2. Name: Grammarly

a. URL: https://app.grammarly.com/

b. Description of tool: Grammarly is a great web for students, especially

when they are not so good at grammar. Students can use this tool as a

grammar checker. Also, they use this web to improve the process of peer

editing because it checks for more than 250 point of grammar. Amazing

and useful tool !

c. I would love the students to have their own grammarly account so their

grammar can improve.

d. As a college student, I use grammarly a lot because it helps me improve

my grammar. As a teacher, I am for sure going to be using this tool to

either grade my students grammar or to just check for my grammar

everytime I write something for my students or their parents.

e. One advantage of this tool is that it's free and it really helps with grammar

and other errors on writing. After writing a paper, users can use grammarly

for any errors and it will fix it, which makes their paper stronger.

3. Name: FunBrain

b. Description of tool: FunBrain is used more for younger students. FunBrain

provides users with interactive games in subjects such as math, reading,

and literacy.

c. As a teacher I would use funbrain to make the subject that I am teaching

more fun and easy for my students. I would love for them to play games

like “connect the dots” with numbers. This activity would help me see how

well my students know the numbers from 1-50.

d. The students would use this tool in order to improve their reading skill,

practice more their math and grammar skill playing fun educated games.

e. One advantage of this web is that it has all types of activities for grades

k-8!

4. Name: Super Simple

a. URL: https://supersimple.com/?s=abc+song

b. Description of the tool: Super Simple is like Youtube. Super Simple create

their own songs(originals and classics) for young learners. The songs

were created were appropriately pace, lyrically simple, full of space for

movement, easy gesture to the song, and a lot of FUN!

c. With Super Sample, teachers would look up videos and share them with

the students in order for them to get a better idea of what its been thought

in class for that day.

d. With this tool, my students are going to be able to learn songs that go with

the subject that they are learning in class in order for the students to get a

better understanding of the subject. For example, I will be teaching the

ABC’s to them by using the Super Simple ABC’s song. They will be able to

remember the song faster and their ABC’s in a fun way !

e. Some advantages of this web is that not only the teacher can have access

to this web, but the students or their parents. Not only will students learn

their ABC’s in class, but they can go home and keep practicing the song.

Also, it’s a fun and free web for students to achieve their goal.

5. Name: PBS Learning media

a. URL: https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/

b. Description of tool. PBS Learning media is more for teacher. Using the

media, teachers have access to videos, games, audio clips, photos,

lesson plans, and all of which they can save and share with other teachers

and students. The best thing of all, it’s free.

c. I will be using this tool mostly for reading. I notice that they have a lot of

stories for children and activities that come with the reading. Not only do

they have the whole story, they also have a video that goes with the video.

This will help students memorize and comprehend the story better.

d. Students will be able to use this web by watching videos to learn stories

and complete an activity.

e. The advantages of the web is that they have videos for every subject. So

when I am teaching math, I can have a video for the students. Also, this

web has lesson plans, which would be really helpful to get some ideas for

teaching. The best is that is a Free web.
