Figure 3.3.6 shows the plot of the stability circles, together with the stable region. It can
be seen that a series resistor with the input, of approximately 9 R, assures stability at
the input. Also, a series resistor of approximately 29 R, or a shunt resistor of approxi-
mately 500 R at the output, produces stability at the output. The three choices of
resistive loading are shown in Fig. 3.3.7. The most popular is the shunt resistor con-
figuration in Fig. 3.3.7~.
