PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am currently employed with M/s JBF Petrochemicals Ltd., Mangalore as Quality Engineer since
October 2016. JBF Petrochemicals Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of JBF Industries) is setting up a
green field project on 115 acres of land located in the Special Economic Zone in Mangalore, India
with 1.25 million tons per year Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) Unit with British Petroleum’s latest-
generation ISOX Technology which is the primary feedstock for company’s Polyester Units.

Prior to joining JBF, I was associated with various other organizations viz., First Line Technical
Contracting LLC -Sharjah, Offshore infrastructure Ltd - Mumbai, Bharat Head Hunter - Bangalore.

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering from Visveswariah

technological University, India in the year 2014 with First Class. In my four years career of
Construction Project Quality Assurance & Quality Control in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector,
I worked in Contractor as well as Client role.

This exposure has helped me in better understanding of the subject from different perspective and
efficiently arrive at the amicable, practical, technically correct & timely resolutions. Advantage of
having worked in varied geographical location has enhanced my interpersonal communication
skills and self-confidence in decision making and efficient project execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Checking the received Project Material and their related documents for Goods Inward
Inspection, Material Verification, Record the details for the material trace-ability.
b) Ensure Dimensional, Material specifications, heat numbers, mechanical properties with
respect to approved drawing
c) Check on proper storage, baking, handling etc. of the welding consumables.
d) Ensure edge preparations and the bevel angle prior to fit-up.
e) Witnessing / checking the fit-up for preparation of welding
f) Weld visual inspection, Dimensional Control as per the approved drawing.
g) Checking of the pre heat, inter pass temperature & monitoring the parameters as per WPS
h) Welding inspection (Checks before, during and after welding )
i) Checking for workmanship of Piping fabrication and erection.
j) Monitor welder performance and welding activities to ensure work is being carried out in
accordance with the approved welding procedure (WPS).
k) Witnessing Welder’s Qualifications Test (WQT) and qualifying welders for different base
metals, thickness and diameter ranges according to ASME Section-IX.
l) Responsible for Conducting NDT (RT and LPT) and creating Reports after Verifications.
m) Maintenance of Daily Reports / Inspection Reports (Computerized and Manual) etc.
